(54) Hinge for doors or windows


(57) The invention concerns a hinge, in particular a flag hinge for doors or windows, comprising a frame hinge part (1) for fixing to a frame (5) and a leaf hinge part (2) for fixing to a leaf (17) of the window or the door, wherein one of the hinge parts (2) has a hinge pin (15) and the other hinge part (1) has a pin receiving means (13) for the hinge pin. The object of the present invention is to substantially avoid troublesome and interfering components of the hinge in the region of the frame. To attain that object the pin (15) and the pin receiving means (13) of the fitted hinge are disposed completely in front of the front side (16) of the leaf, wherein the front side (18) of the frame is free of elements of the hinge.
