    Description

    BACKGROUND



    [0001] The present application relates to lift cranes, and particularly to mobile lift cranes having attachments to increase the lift capacity of the crane.

    [0002] Enhancing the lift capacities of mobile lift cranes has been the subject of many improvements in the art of lift cranes over the years. Even with these improvements, there is still a need for further improvements, especially where the particular load to be lifted is very heavy, and other constraints associated with the load come into play, such as the need for the crane to be able to move over the ground while lifting the load.

    [0003] US 4, 537,317 discloses a heavy duty travel crane with two power driven mobile units each with an upper works pivotally supported by lower works and interconnected by a spreader link that may support a stack of counterweight.

    [0004] DE 1264010B discloses a mobile lift crane comprising a central crane unit, a boom unit and a counterweight unit.

    BRIEF SUMMARY



    [0005] The present invention provides a mobile lift crane as set out in claim 1. A mobile lift crane has been invented which is capable of making very heavy lifts and still being mobile while lifting the load. In a first aspect, the invention is a mobile lift crane comprising a central crane unit having a carbody, moveable ground engaging members and a rotating bed mounted to the ground engaging members with a rotatable connection such that the rotating bed can swing with respect to the ground engaging members; a boom unit having a support member, at least one moveable ground engaging member, and a boom pivotally mounted on the support member; a counterweight unit having counterweight on a support member; and rigging connecting the boom and counterweight unit such that a load lifted by the boom can be counterbalanced by the counterweight. The boom unit and counterweight unit are connected to the central crane unit by structural members that carry compressive loads and maintain the boom unit, the rotating bed and the counterweight unit in lateral alignment with each other, but allow relative vertical movement between the boom unit, the rotating bed and the counterweight unit. A main mast is pivotally mounted on the boom unit.

    [0006] Also described is a mobile lift crane comprising a counterweight unit having a support member, counterweight, and at least two moveable ground engaging members, the support member being mounted to the ground engaging members with a rotatable connection such that the support member can swing with respect to the ground engaging members about a swing axis; a boom unit having a support member, at least two moveable ground engaging members, a boom pivotally mounted on the support member, and a main mast pivotally mounted on the support member; a structural member between the boom unit and the counterweight unit that can carry compressive loads and maintain the boom unit and the counterweight unit in lateral alignment with each other, but allow relative vertical movement between the boom unit and the counterweight unit; and rigging connecting the boom, mast and counterweight unit such that a load lifted by the boom can be counterbalanced by the counterweight. The ground engaging members of the boom unit can be rotated relative to the boom unit support member such that the boom unit i) can travel in an arc around the swing axis and ii) travel in direction in line with the structural member.

    [0007] With one embodiment of the lift crane of the present invention, the crane with a short boom and short radii will be able to lift approximately 2,000 metric ton. In a configuration like that shown in the attached Figures 1-3, the capacity is approximately 800 metric ton. Even with the ability to lift these large loads, the crane is still mobile.

    [0008] These and other advantages of the invention, as well as the invention itself, will be more easily understood in view of the attached drawings.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS AND THE PRESENTLY PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS



    [0010] The present invention will now be further described. In the following passages, different aspects of the invention are defined in more detail. Each aspect so defined may be combined with any other aspect or aspects unless clearly indicated to the contrary. In particular, any feature indicated as being preferred or advantageous may be combined with any other feature or features indicated as being preferred or advantageous.

    [0011] Two embodiments of the invention are shown in the attached drawings. In the first embodiment, shown in Figures 1-3, the mobile lift crane 10 is made from three main units: a central crane unit 20, a boom unit 40 and a counterweight unit 60. The boom unit 40 and counterweight unit 60 are connected to the central crane unit 20 by structural members 82 and 84. The boom unit 40 and its structural member 82 are similar to a lift enhancing attachment that has been sold under the trademark "X-Tender" by Manitowoc Cranes of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The counterweight unit 60 and its structural member 84 are similar to another lift enhancing attachment that has been sold under the trademark "MAX-ER" by Manitowoc Cranes. However, up until the present invention, it is believed that no one had ever combined the two attachment concepts to achieve a very high lift capacity crane. Having the swing axis longitudinally located between the combined enhancing devices is unique and non-obvious. Because many features of the boom unit, central crane unit and counterweight unit are the same as in cranes and these attachments, they will not be described in detail herein.

    [0012] The central crane unit 20 includes a carbody 22, a rotating bed 23 and moveable ground engaging members in the form of crawlers 24. The rotating bed 23 is mounted to the carbody 22 with a rotatable connection, which may be rollers running on a roller path or a slewing ring, such that the rotating bed 23 can swing about a vertical axis with respect to the ground engaging members 24. In the crane 10, the ground engaging members on the central crane unit comprise at least two crawlers. The central crane unit further includes a secondary mast 26 pivotally connected to the rotating bed 23. This mast is used primarily during set up to raise the main mast. The central crane unit 20 also includes other elements commonly found on a mobile lift crane, such as a live mast 28, back stops 30 and an operator's cab 32.

    [0013] The boom unit 40 includes a support member 42 and at least one moveable ground engaging member. The ground engaging member on the boom unit will typically comprise at least two crawlers. In the embodiment shown, the boom unit has four moveable ground engaging members in the form of crawlers 44, in two sets of two crawlers each. Each of crawlers (or in this case, each set of crawlers) on the boom unit can be rotated about a vertical axis so that the boom unit can travel in both i) an arc around the axis of the rotatable swing connection of the central crane unit 20 (as shown in Figures 2 and 3) and ii) a lateral direction corresponding to a linear direction of travel of the central crane unit (as shown in Figure 1).

    [0014] The boom unit also includes a boom 46 pivotally mounted on the support member 42, and a main mast 48 pivotally mounted on the support member 42. The boom 46 may comprises a main boom and a luffing jib 50 pivotally mounted to the top of the main boom. When a luffing jib 50 is included, struts 51 and 53 are also used. The boom may be made from two independent lattice structures that are joined together at both their tops and bottoms by the pivotal support mechanism of the support member 42 and the luffing jib support on the top of the main boom.

    [0015] The counterweight unit 60 includes a counterweight (which may be in the form of two stacks 62 and 64 of individual counterweight members as shown) on a support member 66. The counterweight unit 60 further includes moveable ground engaging members in the form of multiple wheels 68. In the embodiment shown a second counterweight unit 61, designed for free-hanging use, is also included. The ground engaging members on the counterweight unit can be rotated about a vertical axis so that the counterweight unit can travel in both i) an arc around the axis of the rotatable swing connection of the central crane unit and ii) a lateral direction corresponding to a linear direction of travel of the central crane unit. The counterweight unit 61 may include a hydraulic cylinder (not shown) connected between the support member and the back hitch straps 54 that can be retracted to change the bearing of the counterweight from the ground to the back hitch straps as a load is lifted and counterweight is needed.

    [0016] The crane 10 also includes rigging connecting the boom 46, main mast 48 and counterweight unit 60 such that a load lifted by the boom 46 can be counterbalanced by the counterweight. The rigging includes boom hoist rigging 52 between the main mast 48 and the boom 46, allowing the boom angle with respect to the ground to be changed. The rigging also includes the back hitch straps 54. The back hitch straps in the embodiment shown are ultimately tied to the main mast 48, but may also be connected through the top of the secondary mast 26. In the embodiment shown there are two sets of back hitch straps 54, one tied to the counterweight unit 60 and one tied to the second counterweight unit 61. Another back hitch strap 58 is tied to the back of the central crane unit 20. This strap is also tied to the live mast 28 and is used to erect the secondary mast 26. Rigging 59 (Figure 1) is used to change the angle between struts 51 and 53, and thus the angle of luffing jib 50 compared to the main boom.

    [0017] The structural members 82 and 84 carry compressive loads and maintain the boom unit 40, the rotating bed 23 and the counterweight unit 60 in lateral alignment with each other. However, these members are pinned so as to allow relative vertical movement between the boom unit 40, the rotating bed 23 and the counterweight unit 60. The structural member 82 may support one or more drums 86, 87 and 88 containing a load hoist line, luffing jib line 59 and boom hoist line, as well as engine module 90.

    [0018] Figures 4 and 5 show a second embodiment of a crane 110 of the present invention. Like the crane 10, crane 110 includes three main units: a central crane unit 120, a boom unit 140 and a counterweight unit 160. The boom unit 140 and counterweight unit 160 are connected to the central crane unit 120 by structural members 182 and 184. Rigging 159 is used to change the angle between struts 151 and 153, and thus the angle of the luffing jib 150. Load hoist line and rigging drums, as well as an engine module, are mounted on the structural member 182. The mast back stop 186 shown in Figure 4 can also be used on crane 10. The primary difference in the crane 110 compared to crane 10 is that the moveable ground engaging members on the counterweight unit 160 comprise at least two crawlers 168. Figure 5 shows the crawlers 168 and the crawlers on the boom unit in the orientation for swinging about the central crane unit in phantom lines.

    [0019] Figures 6 and 7 show another crane 210. This does not fall within the scope of the present invention but is included for background information. This crane is different than cranes 10 and 110 in that it has only two main units: a counterweight unit 260 and a boom unit 240. In thiscrane, the counterweight unit is designed to have a central swing axis and the boom unit is configured so that it can either move in an arc about that swing axis, or travel in line with the crawlers on the counterweight unit.

    [0020] The counterweight unit 260 includes a support member 266, counterweight 262 and at least two moveable ground engaging members in the form of two crawlers 268. The support member 266 is mounted to the ground engaging members with a rotatable connection such that the support member 266 can swing with respect to the ground engaging members about a swing axis.

    [0021] The boom unit 240 includes a support member 242, at least two moveable ground engaging members, in this case four crawlers 244, a boom 246 pivotally mounted on the support member 242, and a main mast 248 pivotally mounted on the support member. A structural member 282 extends between the boom unit and the counterweight unit, and can carry compressive loads and maintain the boom unit and the counterweight unit in lateral alignment with each other, but allows relative vertical movement between the boom unit and the counterweight unit. The crane 210 also includes rigging connecting the boom, mast and counterweight unit such that a load lifted by the boom can be counterbalanced by the counterweight. The ground engaging members 244 of the boom unit can be rotated relative to the boom unit support member such that the boom unit i) can travel in an arc around the swing axis of the counterweight unit (as shown in phantom lines in Figure 7) and ii) travel in direction in line with the structural member 282.

    [0022] It should be understood that various changes and modifications to the presently preferred embodiments described herein will be apparent to those skilled in the art. The drums for the hoist line and rigging could be mounted on the rotating bed of the central crane unit. Such changes and modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention and without diminishing its intended advantages. It is therefore intended that such changes and modifications be covered by the appended claims.


    Claims

    1. A mobile lift crane (10) comprising:

    a) a central crane unit (20) having a carbody (22), moveable ground engaging members (24) and a rotating bed (23) mounted to the carbody (22) with a rotatable connection such that the rotating bed (23) can swing with respect to the moveable ground engaging members (24), the moveable ground engaging members being configured to allow the central crane unit to move over the ground while the crane is lifting a load;

    b) a boom unit (40) having a boom support member (42), a boom (46) pivotally mounted on the boom support member (42), and at least one moveable ground engaging member (44) mounted on the boom support member (42) so that the weight of the boom (46) is supported by the boom unit moveable ground engaging member (44), and whereby the boom (46), boom support member (42) and boom unit moveable ground engaging member (44) all travel together as a single unit;

    c) a counterweight unit (60) having counterweight (62, 64) on a counterweight support member (66) and moveable ground engaging members mounted on the counterweight support member (66); and

    d) rigging connecting the boom (46) and counterweight unit (60) such that a load lifted by the boom (46) can be counterbalanced by the counterweight (62, 64);

    e) wherein the boom unit (40) is connected to the central crane unit (20) by a first structural member (82) and the counterweight unit (60) is connected to the central crane unit (20) by a second structural member (84), wherein both the first and second structural members (82, 84) carry compressive loads and maintain the boom unit (40), the rotating bed (23) and the counterweight unit (60) in lateral alignment with each other, but allow relative vertical movement between the boom unit (40), the rotating bed (23) and the counterweight unit (60), and wherein the crane (10) further comprises a main mast (48) pivotally mounted on the boom unit (40).


     
    2. The mobile lift crane (10) of claim 1 wherein the moveable ground engaging members (24) on the central crane unit (20) comprise at least two crawlers.
     
    3. The mobile lift crane (10) of claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the moveable ground engaging members (68) on the counterweight unit (60) comprise a plurality of wheels.
     
    4. The mobile lift crane (10) of claim 1 or claim 2 wherein the moveable ground engaging members (68) on the counterweight unit (60) comprise at least two crawlers.
     
    5. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 4 wherein the main mast (48) is pivotally mounted on the boom support member (42) of the boom unit (40).
     
    6. The mobile lift crane (10) of claim 6 wherein the central crane unit (20) further comprises a secondary mast (26) pivotally connected to the rotating bed (23).
     
    7. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 6 wherein each of the moveable ground engaging members (44) on the boom unit (40) can be rotated about a vertical axis so that the boom unit (40) can travel in both i) an arc around the axis of the rotatable swing connection of the central crane unit (20) and ii) a lateral direction corresponding to a linear direction of travel of the central crane unit (20).
     
    8. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 7 further comprising a drum (86, 87, 88) containing a load hoist line, the drum (86, 87, 88) being mounted on the first structural member (82).
     
    9. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 8 wherein the rigging comprises i) boom hoist rigging (52) between the main mast (48) and the boom (46) allowing the boom angle to be changed and ii) back hitch straps (54) between the main mast (48) and the counterweight unit (60).
     
    10. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 9 further comprising a second counterweight unit (61) configured for free-hanging use.
     
    11. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 10 wherein the moveable ground engaging members (68) on the counterweight unit (60) can be rotated about a vertical axis so that the counterweight unit (60) can travel in both i) an arc around the axis of the rotatable swing connection of the central crane unit (20) and ii) a lateral direction corresponding to a linear direction of travel of the central crane unit (20).
     
    12. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 11 wherein the at least one moveable ground engaging member (44) on the boom unit (40) comprise at least two crawlers.
     
    13. The mobile lift crane (10) of claim 12 wherein the at least two crawlers on the boom unit (40) comprise two sets of two crawlers each.
     
    14. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 13 wherein the boom (46) comprises a main boom and a luffing jib (50) pivotally mounted to the top of the main boom.
     
    15. The mobile lift crane (10) of any one of claims 1 to 14 wherein the boom (46) comprises two independent lattice structures that are joined together at both their tops and bottoms.
     


    Ansprüche

    1. Mobiler Hebekran (10), umfassend:

    a) eine zentrale Kran-Einheit (20) mit einem Auf- bzw. Unterbau (22), mit beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elementen (24) und mit einem an dem Unterbau (22) befestigten Drehbett bzw. sich drehendem Oberbau (23) mit einer drehbaren Verbindung in der Weise, dass der sich drehende Oberbau (23) in Bezug auf die beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente (24) schwenken kann, wobei die beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente konfiguriert sind, um es der zentralen Kran-Einheit zu ermöglichen, sich über den Boden zu bewegen, während der Kran eine Last anhebt;

    b) eine Ausleger-Einheit (40) mit einem Ausleger-Tragteil (42), einem Ausle ger (46), der schwenkbar an dem Ausleger-Tragteil (42) angebracht ist, und wenigstens einem beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Element (44), das an dem Ausleger-Tragteil (42) befestigt ist, so dass das Gewicht des Auslegers (46) durch das bewegliche, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommende Element (44) der Ausleger-Einheit getragen wird, und wodurch der Ausleger (46), das Ausleger-Tragteil (42) und das bewegliche, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommende Element (44) der Ausleger-Einheit sich alle gemeinsam als eine einzige Einheit bewegen;

    c) eine Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) mit einem Gegengewicht (62, 64) auf einem Gegenwicht-Tragteil (66) und mit beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elementen, die an dem Gegengewicht-Tragteil (66) angebracht sind, und

    d) eine Abspannung, die den Ausleger (46) und die Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) in der Weise verbindet, dass eine von dem Ausleger (46) angehobene Last durch das Gegengewicht (62, 64) ausbalanciert bzw. kompensiert werden kann;

    e) wobei die Ausleger-Einheit (40) mit der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) durch ein erstes Strukturelement (82) und die Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) mit der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) durch ein zweites Strukturelement (84) verbunden sind, wobei sowohl das erste als auch das zweite Strukturelement (82, 84) Drucklasten tragen und die Ausleger-Einheit (40), den drehenden Oberbau (23) und die Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) in seitlicher Ausrichtung zueinander halten, jedoch eine relative Vertikalbewegung zwischen der Ausleger-Einheit (40), dem sich drehenden Oberbau (23) und der Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) erlauben, und wobei der Kran (10) weiterhin einen Hauptmast (48) aufweist, der schwenkbar an der Ausleger-Einheit (40) befestigt ist.


     
    2. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente (24) an der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) wenigstens zwei Raupen bzw. Crawler umfassen.
     
    3. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, wobei die beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente (68) an der Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) mehrere Räder umfassen.
     
    4. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, wobei die beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente (68) an der Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) wenigstens zwei Raupen bzw. Crawler umfassen.
     
    5. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei der Hauptmast (48) schwenkbar an dem Ausleger-Tragteil (42) der Ausleger-Einheit (40) befestigt ist.
     
    6. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach Anspruch 6, wobei die zentrale Kran-Einheit (20) weiterhin einen sekundären Mast (26) umfasst, der schwenkbar mit dem sich drehenden Oberbau (23) verbunden ist.
     
    7. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei jedes der beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente (44) an der Ausleger-Einheit (40) um eine vertikale Achse gedreht werden kann, so dass die Ausleger-Einheit (40) sich sowohl i) in einem Bogen rund um die Achse der sich drehenden Schwenkverbindung der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) und ii) in einer seitlichen Richtung bewegen kann, die einer linearen Richtung der Bewegung der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) entspricht.
     
    8. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, weiterhin umfassend eine Trommel (86, 87, 88), die ein Lasthubseil enthält, wobei die Trommel (86, 87, 88) an dem ersten Strukturteil (82) angebracht ist.
     
    9. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei die Abspannung i) eine Ausleger-Hubabspannung (52) zwischen dem Hauptmast (48) und dem Ausleger (46), die eine Änderung des Ausleger-Winkels ermöglicht, und ii) hintere Zuggeschirr- bzw. Anbauvorrichtung-Gurte (54) (back hitch straps) zwischen dem Hauptmast (48) und der Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) umfasst.
     
    10. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, weiterhin umfassend eine zweite Gegengewichts-Einheit (61), die für den frei hängenden Gebrauch konfiguriert ist.
     
    11. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, wobei die beweglichen, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommenden Elemente (68) an der Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) um eine vertikale Achse so gedreht werden können, dass sich die Gegengewichts-Einheit (60) sowohl i) in einem Bogen rund um die Achse der drehbaren Schwenkverbindung der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) als auch ii) in einer seitlichen Richtung bewegen kann, die einer linearen Bewegungsrichtung der zentralen Kran-Einheit (20) entspricht.
     
    12. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, wobei das wenigstens eine bewegliche, mit dem Boden in Eingriff kommende Element (44) an der Ausleger-Einheit (40) zwei Raupen bzw. Crawler umfasst.
     
    13. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach Anspruch 12, wobei die wenigstens zwei Raupen bzw. Crawler an der Ausleger-Einheit (40) jeweils zwei Sätze von zwei Crawlern umfassen.
     
    14. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, wobei der Ausleger (46) einen Haupt-Ausleger und einen Nadel-Ausleger (50) umfasst, der schwenkbar an der Spitze des Haupt-Auslegers befestigt ist.
     
    15. Mobiler Hebekran (10) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, wobei der Ausleger (46) zwei unabhängige Gitterstrukturen umfasst, die sowohl an ihren Spitzen als auch an ihren Füßen bzw. Unterteilen miteinander verbunden werden.
     


    Revendications

    1. Grue de levage mobile (10) comprenant :

    a) une unité de grue centrale (20) présentant une caisse (22), des éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (24) et un lit rotatif (23) monté sur la caisse (22) avec une connexion rotative de sorte que le lit rotatif (23) puisse osciller par rapport aux éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (24), les éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles étant configurés pour permettre à l'unité de grue centrale de se déplacer sur le sol alors que la grue lève une charge ;

    b) une unité de flèche (40) présentant un élément de support de flèche (42), une flèche (46) étant montée de manière pivotante sur l'élément de support de flèche (42) et au moins un élément d'engagement au sol mobile (44) étant monté sur l'élément de support de flèche (42) de sorte que le poids de la flèche (46) soit supporté par l'élément d'engagement au sol mobile de l'unité de flèche (44) et moyennant quoi la flèche (46), l'élément de support de flèche (42) et l'élément d'engagement au sol mobile de l'unité de flèche (44) se déplacent tous ensemble comme une seule unité ;

    c) une unité de contrepoids (60) présentant un contrepoids (62, 64) sur un élément de support de contrepoids (66) et des éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles montés sur l'élément de support de contrepoids (66) ; et

    d) des cordages reliant la flèche (46) et l'unité de contrepoids (60) de sorte qu'une charge levée par la flèche (46) puisse être contrebalancée par le contrepoids (62, 64) ;

    e) dans laquelle l'unité de flèche (40) est reliée à l'unité de grue centrale (20) par un premier élément structurel (82) et l'unité de contrepoids (60) est reliée à l'unité de grue centrale (20) par un second élément structurel (84), dans laquelle à la fois les premier et second éléments structurels (82, 84) portent des charges compressives et maintiennent l'unité de flèche (40), le lit rotatif (23) et l'unité de contrepoids (60) en alignement latéral les uns avec les autres mais permettent le mouvement vertical relatif entre l'unité de flèche (40), le lit rotatif (23) et l'unité de contrepoids (60) et dans laquelle la grue (10) comprend en outre un mât principal (48) monté de manière pivotante sur l'unité de flèche (40).


     
    2. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle les éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (24) sur l'unité de grue centrale (20) comprennent au moins deux chenilles.
     
    3. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle les éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (68) sur l'unité de contrepoids (60) comprennent une pluralité de roues.
     
    4. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle les éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (68) sur l'unité de contrepoids (60) comprennent au moins deux chenilles.
     
    5. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans laquelle le mât principal (48) est monté de manière pivotante sur l'élément de support de flèche (42) de l'unité de flèche (40).
     
    6. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle l'unité de grue centrale (20) comprend en outre un mât secondaire (26) relié de manière pivotante au lit rotatif (23).
     
    7. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans laquelle chacun des éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (44) sur l'unité de flèche (40) peut être tourné autour d'un axe vertical de sorte que l'unité de flèche (40) puisse se déplacer à la fois dans i) un arc autour de l'axe de la connexion d'oscillation rotative de l'unité de grue centrale (20) et ii) une direction latérale correspondant à une direction linéaire de déplacement de l'unité de grue centrale (20).
     
    8. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, comprenant en outre un tambour (86, 87, 88) contenant un câble de relevage de charge, le tambour (86, 87, 88) étant monté sur le premier élément structurel (82).
     
    9. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, dans laquelle les cordages comprennent i) des cordages de relevage de flèche (52) entre le mât principal (48) et la flèche (46), permettant de modifier l'angle de flèche et ii) des attaches d'attelage arrière (54) entre le mât principal (48) et l'unité de contrepoids (60).
     
    10. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, comprenant en outre une seconde unité de contrepoids (61) configurée pour une utilisation sans suspension.
     
    11. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, dans laquelle les éléments d'engagement au sol mobiles (68) sur l'unité de contrepoids (60) peuvent être tournés autour d'un axe vertical de sorte que l'unité de contrepoids (60) puisse se déplacer à la fois dans i) un arc autour de l'axe de la connexion d'oscillation rotative de l'unité de grue centrale (20) et ii) une direction latérale correspondant à une direction de déplacement linéaire de l'unité de grue centrale (20).
     
    12. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11, dans laquelle l'au moins un élément d'engagement au sol mobile (44) sur l'unité de flèche (40) comprend au moins deux chenilles.
     
    13. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon la revendication 12, dans laquelle les au moins deux chenilles sur l'unité de flèche (40) comprennent deux ensembles de deux chenilles chacun.
     
    14. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 13, dans laquelle la flèche (46) comprend une flèche principale et une flèche relevable (50) montée de manière pivotante sur le dessus de la flèche principale.
     
    15. Grue de levage mobile (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 14, dans laquelle la flèche (46) comprend deux structures de treillis indépendantes qui sont jointes ensemble à la fois sur leurs dessus et dessous.
