(57) Accessory to form a partition wall in the post of a sliding door or a sliding window so as to separate compartments in the cavity of the post, characterised in that the accessory can be axially shifted in the post and has a shape which practically corresponds to the shape of the cavity's cross section, and in that said accessory is provided with means to automatically lock the accessory, when it is shifted, at an opening provided in the post on the spot where the partition wall is to be provided.
