IMPACT STRENGTH MODIFIER, THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION, MOLDED ARTICLE, AND METHOD
FOR PRODUCING GRAFT COPOLYMER |
(57) Disclosed is a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent impact resistance
at a low temperature, while maintaining high transparency; this thermoplastic resin
composition is obtained by compounding an impact resistance improver into a thermoplastic
resin, the impact resistance improver being composed of a graft copolymer which is
obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer component in the presence of a polymer mixture
containing a polymer having butadiene units as an essential component and a polymer
having styrene units as an essential component, the polymer mixture containing 45
to 65% by mass of the butadiene units and 35 to 55% by mass of the styrene units.
