<p id="pa01" num="0001">A pump impeller (4) of a torque converter (2) is connected to an internal combustion engine (1) of a forklift truck and an automatic transmission (3) is connected to a turbine runner (5) of the torque converter (2) so as to drive wheels (17). A cargo-handling pump (40) which drives a forklift (48) is arranged to be driven using a rotational torque of the turbine runner (5), thereby varying discharge flow rate characteristics of the cargo-handling pump (40) according to a work load of the forklift (48) and a rotation speed of the internal combustion engine (1)
