(54) Ceiling type air conditioner with filter cleaning mechanism


(57) A ceiling type air conditioner is disclosed. The ceiling type air conditioner includes: a case fixed to an interior space of a ceiling and for sucking air and discharging heat-exchange air; a base panel fixed to a lower portion of the case and having an air suction port for sucking the air and an air discharge port for discharging the air formed thereon; a front panel disposed on the base panel to open and close the air suction port; and a side panel disposed on the base panel, i.e., disposed in parallel with the front panel on at least one side of the front panel. The side panel is coupled to the base panel so that the base panel is exposed by a user, and this enables a bracket assembly for adjusting the distance between the case and the base panel to be installed inside, thereby making the outer appearance of the air conditioner aesthetic.
