(54) Release device, particularly for a motor vehicle door


(57) A release device, particularly for a motor vehicle door, comprises a base body (18) intended to be applied on the outer face of a door (12), having an axial appendage (22) which can be inserted in a corresponding opening (20) of the door (12). The axial appendage (22) includes a tubular portion (24) provided with a bottom wall (26) which has a hole (28) intended to be slidably engaged by a cylindrical member (30) projecting axially from a button (14) to be associated with the base body (18) with a possibility of a relative movement. The tubular portion (24) has connection means (34) for allowing a switch unit (36) to be removably fastened, which swich unit can be operated as a result of an axial movement of a free end (38) of the cylindrical member (30) of the button (18).
