Field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of personal hygiene apparatuses.
State of the art
[0002] Personal hygiene has considerably developed in the course of time; if in the past
hygiene simply meant cleanness, nowadays this term includes any practice directed
to avoid unpleasant odours or conditions which although not pathological may be a
cause for discomfort both subjectively and in interpersonal relations.
[0003] In spite of the considerable development of products suitable for the hygienic treatment
or simply for the deodorising treatment of private parts, there is no apparatus which
allows a simple use every time it is required and is available in places intended
for this purpose (especially bathrooms and toilets).
Brief description of the figures
[0004]
Figure 1 shows a side view of an apparatus according to the invention.
Figure 2 shows a front view of the apparatus according to the invention in a specific
embodiment.
Figure 3 (a and b) shows two details of the apparatus according to the invention.
Detailed description of the invention
[0005] The present invention allows to overcome the above said problems by providing an
apparatus, which is easily installable anywhere required and allows a rapid hygienisation
and/or deodorisation of private parts.
[0006] Figure 1 shows the apparatus according to the invention substantially consisting
of an elastic container 10 that serves as a reservoir for the hygienising and/or deodorant
substance and is placed between two rigid surfaces 11 and 12 one of which displays
one or more holes 13.
[0007] The reservoir is provided with a sprayer 14 which protrudes from the hole 13 and
is fed by a small tube 15 that plunges in the substance contained in the reservoir
itself.
[0008] According to a specific embodiment of the invention the reservoir has a bellows shape.
[0009] Said surfaces 11 and 12 (or at least one of them) may be reciprocally free and integrally
joined, on opposite sides, to the outer surface of the elastic container 10; alternatively,
the side of a surface may be hinged on the other surface (as shown in figure 3(a)
by reference numeral 16) and in this case, if preferred, the two surfaces 11 and 12
(or at least one of them) may not be integrally joined to the reservoir.
[0010] If both surfaces are free with respect to the reservoir 10, the latter will be provided
on at least one of the two surfaces tangent to the surfaces 11 and 12 (or vice versa)
with appropriate adhesion means (preferably removable) so as to be attached and replaced
when it is empty.
[0011] One of the above said surfaces (11 in figure 1) displays points for the attachment
to the wall on which the apparatus will be applied.
[0012] Said attachment points may be such as to directly adhere to the wall (for instance,
adhesives, suction cups and the like) or such as to engage with a support in turn
attached to the wall, for instance a ring attached to the surface 11 which is engaged
with a hook attached to the wall (or vice versa).
[0013] The surface 12, which includes the hole 13, needs to be sufficiently broad to allow
the comfortable resting of the glutei of the user and the hole 13 will preferably
be arranged in the centre of the corresponding surface 12; in the case of two or more
holes 13 these will be aligned, preferably one over the other.
[0014] According to a preferred version of the invention the surfaces 11 and 12 will reciprocally
form an angle of about 45°.
[0015] According to a specific embodiment of the invention above the side of the surface
containing the hole 13 two supports 17 are arranged slightly reciprocally spaced and
parallel for toilet paper rolls 18 which will allow to protect the surface from the
direct contact with the user, although leaving the space required not to interfere
with the ejection of the product sprayed from the hole 13.
[0016] If preferred, only one single support and therefore only one roll of toilet paper
may be used and in this case the paper will need to have a central hole so that by
covering the surface 12 the hole 13 is not covered as well.
[0017] According to a further specific embodiment of the invention, the apparatus will consist
of a rigid and hollow structure containing the reservoir therein, the reservoir being
provided with a pump in turn connected to the sprayer and mechanically or electrically
operated by means of a button that may be operated by the user when desired or which
is automatically operated for instance by means of photoelectrical cells which operate
the pump when the user approaches the sprayer.
[0018] According to this second embodiment of the invention, the apparatus will substantially
consist of a solid, rigid and hollow body, having any shape with one or more holes
13 which house the sprayer/s arranged on its surface facing upwards or frontward towards
the user.
[0019] The rigid and hollow body, as described, may be attached to the wall with a surface
thereof as described above (or possibly incorporated therein) and so that the surface
thereof which bears the hole/s protrudes from the wall and is parallel or perpendicular
or inclined at a preferred angle (for instance 45°) with respect thereto, so that
the user may use the apparatus standing in front or astride without even coming into
direct contact therewith and thus maximising the hygiene of the operation.
[0020] For instance, said solid body may have a substantially prismatic or parallelepipedal
shape, preferably with rounded edges, substantially cylindrical with an end consisting
of a surface which is essentially hemispherical, ovoidal, etc. Obviously in the above
said solid body appropriate apertures will be provided allowing to change or fill
the reservoir when the disinfectant and/or deodorant substance is finished.
[0021] In all of the above described embodiments, the apparatus according to the invention
will be made of any material suitable for the purpose such as for instance rigid and/or
elastic plastic material, metal, resin, etc.
