(57) A method of preparing a batch of paint for paint spraying apparatus employs a liner (75) placed in a measuring vessel (70) provided with markings (74) for indicating the volume of the contents of the vessel (70). The liner (75) is incapable of standing, unsupported, outside the measuring vessel (70) and the markings (74) take account of the liner (75) being in the vessel (70).
