(54) Rolling grille

(57) This invention refers to a reticular safety rolling shutter for the protection of doors, glass windows and generally all kind of buildings' frames.

Description

[0001] The invention is referred in reticular safety rolling shutters, which is used for the armoring of doors, glass windows and generally for all kind of buildings' frames, with the particularity that its elements can be manufactured massly.

[0002] Reticular safety rolling shutters are already known, they are used for the protection of frames, glass windows and generally all kinds of buildings' openings. The already existing reticular safety rolling shutters are constituted by the box, axis, channels and the net. The box is the exterior wrapping, inside of it is placed the axis, in which it is wrapped and rolls the net of rolling shutter, when it is lifted up. Moreover, there are the side channels which function as driver for the movement of the rolling shutters when this goes down and closes or on the contrary goes up and opens. The net of these rolling shutters is constituted by horizontal bars with distressed figure that are bonded together with a metal sheet that is folded around them. Inside this folded metal sheet the bars can rev creating joints and thus can this net bee rolled around the axis when we turn it with the help of springs or motor.

[0003] Reticular safety rolling shutters of this type have certain disadvantages. Initially, the manufacturing process involved is difficult enough. This is dew to the fact that the manufacturing of the distortion of bars cannot be done with a mass production process but only separately for each rolling shutter. Also their assembly they are time-consuming. One more disadvantage is that bonding of the bars, which as it was mentioned before is made with a metal sheet, is some times tighter and others more relaxed and thus do not have smooth operation of the roll, but on the contrary during the operation friction and noise is created. When the roll is manufactured it can be processed only as a total, thus in the event of a breakdown one cannot use a replacement part, instead it must be replaced as a hole. Moreover dew to the same reason already existing rolling shutters cannot have combinations of colors because the dye is being applied after the assembly, otherwise the color is worn out so the existing safety rolling shutters are always monochrome. Is specifically required big space for the dye of such roll especially when its dimensions are exceptionally big, as it can often happen.

[0004] Reticular safety rolling shutters that is presented here, is a knock-down manufacture that is used for the armoring of doors, glass windows and all kinds of buildings' frames. It is constituted of a box, axis, two channels and a net. This roll has the particularity that you can manufacture its parts separately and you can afterwards assembly the roll at any given dimension. This fact gives us the possibility of mass production of elements and then the assembly of rolls of various dimensions, forms and colors with a lower cost. It is also achieved better fitting and operation.

[0005] The present invention, presents a lot of advantages. Since we have mass and separate production of each part of the roll, we have a reservoir of parts with which we can easily manufacture a roll according to the needs and dimensions of each structure, achieving thus a various range of rolling shutters of different forms. Still for the same reason we have the possibility of coloring each part according to our wish, avoiding the single color of today's designs. Thus we can achieve exceptional tastefulness according to the architectural requirements.

[0006] Provided that our rolling shutters do not need to be manufactured as a whole, we have the possibility of repair, in the event of a breakdown by simply replacing the broken parts. Moreover, better fitting and operation is achieved because there is protective material in the points of friction, and avoiding distortion in the joints, the roll functions noiselessly and have a longer operating life. Finally, very important advantage of this invention is the possibility of mass production of each part of roll, achieving, in combination with the fast and easy assembly procedure, low manufacturing cost.

[0007] The invention is described below, with the help of an example and with report in the attached drawings, in which:

Figure 1 shows a prospect drawing, of the particular invention of safety rolling shutters.

Figure 2 portrays a prospect drawing of assembly of roll according to the present invention, opened so as to appear clearly each part it is constituted of.

Figure 3 shows section [AA] of reticular safety rolling shutters.

Figure 4 portrays a detail of figure 2, we call B.

Figure 5 portrays horizontal bar with apostates and the protective material.

Figure 6 portrays a detail, which shows how apostates and the protective material are placed in the horizontal bars.

Figure 7 shows a vertical part of safety rolling shutters.

[0008] The figure 1 presents the aspect of safety rolling shutters, in which the box of roll (1), the horizontal sticks of roll (4), the vertical departments of roll (10), the apostates (7) and the channels drivers of roll (3) are displayed.
In figure 2 we have the possibility to see each part that constitutes the roll separately. In particular in the drawing are portrayed the box of roll (1) in which the axis (2) is placed, at which the net of safety is rolled during operation of the roll with the help of springs or motor. Also in fig.1 the channels-drivers (3) are shown, in which the net of safety slips up and down during operation and which also helps avoiding the regression of the safety net. Also the parts that constitute the safety net of the roll are portrayed. Horizontal bars (4), the lids (9) in the ends of the bars that provide the stabilization of net and finally the vertical parts of roll (10) are also displayed.

[0009] Figure 3 portrays section [AA] of figure 1.

[0010] Figure 4 portrays the detail B of figure 2 in which it appears a horizontal bar of roll and are also portrayed the concave receptions (5) in the upper and lower part of bar, as well as the receptions of protective sticks on right and left side of this (6). In the upper and lower concave receptions (5) enter the ledges of connection (11) of the vertical parts of roll (10) and thus are being connected to each other and simultaneously joints are create so during operation the net can wrap around the roll axis. In the right and left receptions (6) are placed the protection sticks (8) made of from durable material for the self-protection of net from the frictions and percussions during operation. This can also be coloured depending our preferences.

[0011] In figure 5 are portrayed the sticks that operate as apostates (7) which are placed in horizontal receptions (5). More precisely are placed in the void that is seen between the ledges of connection (11) of vertical sticks (10). With the use of the sticks - apostates (7), the vertical parts of net (10) are stabilised so as they cannot move inside horizontal receptions (5) during operation of the roll. The lids (9) also operate as stabilisers of sticks-apostates (7), of protection sticks (8) and of ledges of connection (11) of the vertical parts of roll (10).

[0012] In figure (6) are portrayed, out of their original place, the sticks-apostates (7) and the protective material (8) in order to become comprehensible how they are placed in the horizontal bars (4).

[0013] In figure (7) it is portrayed an individual vertical part of roll where the ledges of connection (11) are presented in detail.

Claims

1. This particular reticular safety rolling shutters, it includes a box (1) which it contains the axis (2) around which the net of roll is wrapped passing through the channels-drivers of the roll (3), with the help of springs or motor and is characterized from a new way of constructing the net, which is constituted by horizontal bars (4) that has suitable receptions in their upper and lower part (5) where the vertical parts of roll are placed (10) via the connection ledges (11) and between them the sticks-apostates (7), keeping the distance between them constant. With this way the vertical parts of the roll (10) are connected with horizontal bars (4) and at the same time we create joints for the wrapping of the roll. At the horizontal bars you can also find -in their front and back face-additional receptions (6), where the sticks of self-protection (8) are placed. The whole system is stabilized from the plastic lids (9), which also constitute the slippers of the roll inside channels-drivers (3). Depending on the desirable height of roll the necessary number of horizontal bars is assembled (4) and the width of roll is determined by the length that the horizontal bars will be cut.

2. This particular reticular safety rolling shutters, according to claim 1, is characterized by the fact that each piece is manufactured separately and then assembles in desirable dimensions and in the event of a breakdown any part is easily replaced.

3. This particular reticular safety rolling shutters, according to claims 1 and 2, is characterized by the fact that sticks-apostates (7) and the plastic lids (9), provide a noiseless movement and wrapping of the roll.
