(54) Anti-dribble tool for paint brushes

(57) The 'finding' has the aim to avoid the dribble, during the tinting of the furnished rooms.
It is combined on 3 elements (see the enclosed picture), 2 in plastic and 1 in brass hinge.
It's sufficient get a paint-brush of the same 'finding' size, unscrew the handle, put in the hole of the 'finding' n'1 and re-wind it.
The utility of the 'finding', avoids dribbles and waste of time (wrap-frames, skirting-board, etc)
Beyond this,it lends to devide the tint between a white wall and coloured ceiling, avoiding dribbles.
The 'finding' is utilized either in vertical or in horizontal.

Description

[0001] Generally, to paint a room of a house or a furnished flat, it profiles some problems of mould fixtures, skirting-board, 'buonegrazie', or fixes furniture.

[0002] Before starting this work, we are forced to wrap with some paper adhesive band or other, without wasting time and material.

[0003] Thanks to this 'finding', all this discomforts will be solved, before and after the tinting; it will be not necessary clean or unwrap

[0004] This, applied to a paint-brush, it preferably offers but not exclusively in the painting field.

[0005] It can be done in various materials, in a unique or fusion piece, preferably in plastic or assimilated, because it goes in contact with some liquids.

[0006] This tool before being utilized, it must be assembled to a paint-brush of the same size, and preferably but not exclusively with an unscrew handle.

[0007] The 'finding' is clarified on a practice realization, in the drawing of the allegation table.
  • The tab 1 shows the piece (element) n 1, rectangular with 3 holes on the sides and 1 in the middle.
  • The tab 1 shows the piece (element) n 2, rectangular with 3 holes on the sides and a protuberance in the middle.
  • The tab 1 shows a hinge with 6 holes. Added the 3 pieces, preferably but not exclusively, with some rivets, glues, silicones, etc (see tab 1)

[0008] To put all in practice, you must provide a paint-brush of the same size, take off the handle, unwrapped, put inside the hole of piece n1, and reassemble all together. Before starting to paint, with the thumb of the hand, you have to press on the protuberance of the piece n 2, lift up and dip the brush inside the colour, so the 'finding' doesn't wet.

[0009] Once wetting the bristles, you pull it out and with a little pressure of the hand or a spring, the piece n 2 lowers again through the bristles, to create a barrier that will avoid to dribble and dirty the projecting parts, during the tinting.

[0010] Beyond to avoid this inconvenient, with the same method, you can delineate the tint between a vertical and a horizontal angle, dividing two different colours.

Claims
