(54) Cooking hob with heat shield


(57) A cooking hob comprising at least one burner positioned on said hob and at least one control knob positioned on said hob, characterised by comprising a structural element (15) positioned on said hob, said structural element being coupled to said hob by a magnetic coupling.
The structural element (15) may function as a heat shield between the burner(s) and the knob(s). It may further be mounted on the hob by magnetic means.
