(54) Terminal and method of control


(57) A terminal having a touch screen includes a vibrator configured to provide feedback of a vibration of varying amplitude or frequency when a list is scrolled. The vibration varies as the position of a displayed portion of a list is scrolled using a scroll bar. A unique vibration pattern may be generated when the scrolled list reaches one end, or when a file having a unique attribute is highlighted. A portion of a webpage may be displayed, and the portion of the webpage may be adjusted by scrolling the webpage. When a webpage object is scrolled to a particular location on the display, the terminal may generate a vibration indicating the presence of the webpage object. The terminal may also provide vibration feedback when a progress bar of a reproduced multimedia file is manipulated or when a magnification factor of a displayed image is changed.
