(54) Binding device

(57) The binding device for stacking frame of the machine for production of sun-blind lamellas, characterised by the fact that it includes a storage tank (9) for a pair of binding tapes (10) placed below the stacking unit (1) and one set of leaders (11) for each binding tape (10) placed on both sides of the guiding groove (6) of the lamella ledge (4) of the stacking unit (1) and a pair of mutually movable welding jaws (12) placed on the lamella ledge (4) of the stacking unit (1) below the lower of sun-blind lamellas (7) with lifted stacked pack of sun-blind lamellas (7).

Description

[0001] The invention concerns the binding device for the stacking frame of the machine for production of sun-blind lamellas.

The Contemporary State of Art

[0002] Machines for production of sun-blind lamellas are equipped with a stacking frame that lifts - after cutting of a specified number of sun-blind lamellas - the developed pack of sun-blind lamellas to the position for take-away from the machine. In consideration of the fact that the number of cut sun-blind lamellas in the pack and their length change depending on current settings, the produced pack of sun-blind lamellas is bound only after their take-away from the stacking frame, so as to arrange high quality of binding and so as to avoid disintegration of the pack of lamellas during consequent handling.

Nature of Invention

[0003] The aim of the invention is to develop the binding device that would allow - without any re-setting - binding of lamella packs on the stacking frame of the machine for production of sun-blind lamellas in different lengths and different numbers of sun-blind lamellas, while being of easy construction and simultaneously arranging high-quality binding of the pack of sun-blind lamellas.

[0004] This can be reached to a significant extent by a binding device according to this technical solution based on the fact that it includes a storage tank for a pair of binding tapes placed below the stacking frame, for each binding tape there is one set of leaders placed lengthwise the sides of the guiding groove of the lamella ledge of the stacking frame and a pair of mutually movable welding jaws placed on the lamella ledge of the stacking frame under the level of lower sun-blind lamellas of the lifted stacked pack of sun-blind lamellas.

[0005] In consideration of simplicity it is favourable for the storage tank of binding tapes to consist of a reel with double build of binding tapes.

[0006] In consideration of the pack quality it is advantageous for the welding jaws to be connected with pneumatic cylinders.

[0007] For construction simplicity it is purposeful for both sets of leaders to consist identically of triple pulleys, one of them placed on the lower edge of the guiding groove and the remaining two pulleys to be placed below the jaws for parallel lead of binding tapes along the guiding groove and between the welding jaws.

List of Drawings in Figure

[0008] The invention will be explained in detail using the drawings, when Fig. 1 shows a part of the stacking frame with two stacking units of the machine for production of sun-blind lamellas, with the sun-blind lamellas in the lower position before their lifting for take-away and Fig. 2 after lifting of the sun-blind lamellas to the position for take-away and their binding.

Samples Description

[0009] The machine for production of sun-blind lamellas is equipped with a stacking frame that always contains several stacking units 1 placed in an adjustable way on the lengthwise beam 2. Each stacking unit 1 includes a pair of lamella ledges 3, 4 with guiding grooves 5, 6 for stacked sun-blind lamellas 7. According to Figures 1 and 2, the front lamella ledge 4 of the pair of pledges 3, 4 of the stacking unit 1 houses the binding device 8 including the storage tank 9 for two binding tapes 10, two sets of leaders 11 organised on mirror basis on the sides of the guiding groove 6 of the lamella ledge 4 and mutually movable two welding jaws 12.

[0010] In the simplest version, the storage tank 9 consists of a reel with build of two binding tapes 10, placed on the lower edge of the lamella ledge 4, extended downwards for this purpose. In case of the storage tank 9 to consist of a reel it is purposeful for its turning to be slightly braked. It is apparent that the storage tank 9 may also consist of a pair of reels or it may be of box type, housing the binding tapes 10.

[0011] Both sets of leaders 11 identically consist of triple pulleys 13, 14, 15, of which pulley 13 is placed below the bottom of the guiding groove 6 and the remaining two adjacent pulleys 14, 15 are placed just below the binding jaws 12, that are - as indicated in Fig. 2 - placed immediately below the lower sun-blind lamella 7 of the lifted stacking pack of sun-blind lamellas 7.

[0012] The movement of jaws 12 is created by pneumatic cylinders 16, making one assemblage unit with them. The pneumatic cylinders 16 are a part of the pneumatic circuit of the machine, so as their operation is synchronised with the stacking frame.

[0013] The binding tapes 10 are - before start of sun-blind lamellas 7 cutting - individually introduced to each set of leaders 11, and their ends are mutually welded - unless it has already been done before - by welding jaws 12 and so they are introduced across the guiding grooves 6 on the lamella ledge 4. As soon as the binding tapes 10 are introduced in the above stated way, it is possible to cut specified number of sun-blind lamellas 7 for take-away. When lifting the stacked pack using the jack 18, the upper sun-blind lamellas 7 hit the welded ends of binding tapes 10, that - as the continues the lifting of the pack of sun-blind lamella 7 - unwind from the storage tank 9. As soon as the pack of sun-blind lamellas 7 is lifted and protected against reverse movement by swivelling noses 17, the hydraulic cylinders 16 are put into operation and they push the welding jaws 12 to each other - as they approach, they unwind necessary length of binding tapes 10 for welding. After pushing, the welding jaws 12 weld the binding tapes 10 and simultaneously they cut them in such a way so as both ends of binding tapes 10 unwound from the storage tank 9 remain welded. Such a welded pack of sun-blind lamellas 7 can be taken away. In case of suitable length of guiding grooves 6 it is possible to take the lamellas away even after binding of several packs. It is apparent that the device does not need any adjustments as the binding device moves simultaneously during setting, depending on length of cut sun-blind lamellas 7, with the stacking unit 1 and the length of binding tapes 10 is set by the pack of stacked sun-blind lamellas 7 depending on its height.

Industrial Applicability

[0014] The device according to this invention is preferentially designed for machines for production of sun-blind lamellas.
