(57) A rotary Braille embossing machine 500 comprises cooperating rotary drums with complementary Braille formations formed on each drum. Aspects of the set up of the drums and of the operation of the machine are described. In certain embodiments the speed of conveyors 502,504, 506, 510 are controlled to provide a larger gap between embossed blanks 514 on an output side than on an input side.
