(57) An electronic device having a touchscreen display. A graphical user interface (GUI) is displayed on the touchscreen display that includes a user interface element displayed in a default state at a location, the user interface element being associated with a function. The user interface element is changed from the default state to a first state upon detecting a first input event at the location. The user interface element is changed from the first state to a second state upon detecting a second input event at the location.
