(57) An apparatus for causing an air movement in a cross-machine direction and substantially parallel with a stabilizer surface (17) adjacent a moving web (4), the apparatus positioned adjacent the stabilizer (1) at or outside a sheet edge (16) of the stabilizer (1), the apparatus directing a fluid movement in a direction moving away from the side edges (5) of the moving web (4) to stabilize the edges of the web (5).
