(54) Top and bottom feed sewing machine


(57) A top and bottom feed sewing machine (100) includes pressing means (6, 10) configured to press rollers (3, 7) toward a workpiece (C1, C2) with a pressing force which is adjustable in accordance with an amount of electric current supplied. The top and bottom feed sewing machine (100) further includes a setting means (80) configured to set an adjustment period in which the pressing force is adjusted and an adjusted pressing force, and a pressing force control means (13) configured to control the amount of electric current to be supplied to each of the pressing means (6, 10) such that, in the adjustment period, the pressing force of each of the rollers (3, 7) is adjusted to the adjusted pressing force.
