(54) Hinge for pivot windows


(57) A hinge for a pivot window, such as a roof window. The hinge comprises a passageway defined by a convex guide surface (4), a concave guide surface (7) and a leave spring (8). A curved slide member (15) is received in the passageway. The curved slide member includes a recess in which a guide pin (16) is received. The width of the curved slide member (15) at the recess is with the guide pin (16) received therein equal or slightly less than the width of the rest of the curved slide member.
