(57) Provided are a communication system and a mobile station apparatus which can effectively manage setting information held in a base station apparatus and a mobile station apparatus in a system having a plurality of component carriers. The mobile communication system is formed by the base station apparatus and the mobile station apparatus. The system manages specific system information elements used by a plurality of component carriers occupying a part of the bandwidth in the system band as unique information.
