(54) Device and method for feeding a web of a packaging material


(57) There is described a device (10) for feeding a web (3) of a packaging material along a path (P) and towards a application station (26); packaging material comprises a plurality of pre-laminated holes at which application station (26) applies respective opening devices (4); the device (10) comprises advancing means (11, 12) for advancing said web (3) along a first direction (A) parallel to path (P); a sensor (15) for generating a plurality of measure signals (M1, M2, M3) associated to the positions of pre-laminated holes; and a first motor (14) controllable on the basis of measure signals (M1, M2, M3); first motor (14) is operatively connected to advancing means (11, 12) for moving advancing means (11, 12) along a second direction transversal (T) to path (P).
