Description

[0001] The present invention refers to a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall.

[0002] It is known that when mounting wall cabinets to a wall it is necessary to consider the unevenness of the wall, in particular when several wall cabinets are aligned between each other for example jointly forming a single piece of furniture, possibly covered by a single support plane.

[0003] Generally, such technical problem arises when the track wherein each of the wall cabinets is hanged is divided into mutually separated pieces, each of which is applied to wall. In this case, the unevenness of the wall may lead to misalignment of the cabinets which follow the development of the wall. This problem is usually solved by interposing a suitable thickness with the aim of trying to reconstruct an alignment of the pieces of track and thus of the wall cabinets flanked.

[0004] A drawback of the aforementioned solution lies in the difficulty of the mounting operation which provides for the use of a high number of distinct parts and whose result strongly relies on the experience of the personnel.

[0005] Furthermore, when the piece of track with the preselected thickness is applied to wall, it is difficult to correct an inaccurate choice and it is however impossible to perform a final adjustment in case of assemblies after fixing the containers.

[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall capable of overcoming the previously described technical drawbacks and thus providing a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall capable of allowing adjusting the distance of the entire wall cabinet to the wall, as well as symmetrically adapting the base with respect to the unevenness of a wall, through displacement in direction orthogonal to the wall.

[0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall also capable of adjusting the position in height and in the direction of the width of the wall cabinet.

[0008] Another object of the present invention is to provide a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall that is particularly simple and functional, with low costs.

[0009] These objects according to the present invention are attained by providing a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall as outlined in claim 1.

[0010] Further characteristics are provided in the dependent claims.

[0011] Characteristics and advantages of a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall according to the present invention shall be more apparent from the following exemplifying and non-limiting description with reference to the attached schematic drawings wherein:

figure 1 shows a hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall, according to the invention, applied to a wall cabinet partially cross-sectional;

figure 2 shows a partially exploded view of the hanging device of figure 1 for exemplifying fastening to the wall;

figures 3 and 4 are two top and bottom exploded views of the hanging device according to the invention;

figures 5A and 5B show a section of the hanging device provided according to a transverse plane passing through means for adjusting the distance from a wall respectively shown in two adjustment positions;

figures 6A and 6B show a section of the hanging device provided according to a transverse plane passing through means for adjusting the distance from a wall respectively shown in two adjustment positions.

figure 7 is an exemplifying schematic view of four wall cabinets applied to a wall to form a single support plane;

figure 8 schematically shows a plan view of the application of two wall cabinets respectively without considering the wall, on the left, and adapting them to the wall, on the right.

[0012] With reference to the figures, a hanging device 10 for a wall cabinet 12 adaptable to a wall 11, schematically shown in figures 1 and 2, is shown.

[0013] The hanging device 10 comprises a first wall support element 20, a second element 30 for supporting a wall cabinet 12, as well as means 40 for adjusting the height of the wall cabinet 12 with respect to the first wall support element 20, engageable to the opposite ends of the first wall support element 20, as well as distance adjustment means 50 of the wall cabinet 12 with respect to the first wall support element 20.

[0014] According to the invention, the first wall support element 20 is a tubular beam comprising a plurality of first holes 21 distributed on the length thereof and passing through a first pair of opposite walls 22 for housing wall fastening means 23 (figure 2).

[0015] The first wall support element 20 comprises, as shown in figures 3 and 4, at each end, at least one first threaded hole 24 passing through the first of the opposite walls 22 bearing the first through holes 21.

[0016] Only one first threaded hole 24 at each end of the first wall support element 20 is shown by way of example.

[0017] The first wall support element 20 also comprises second holes 25 passing through a second pair of opposite walls 26 orthogonal with respect to the first pair of opposite walls 22, in which at least one of the second through holes 25 is threaded. In the shown example in particular it houses an internally threaded bushing 27.

[0018] The first wall support element 20 also comprises, at each end, at least one further threaded hole 28, passing through the first of the opposite walls 22, and placed at a lower level with respect to the at least one first threaded hole 24.

[0019] The tubular beam constituting the wall support element 20 is a tubular beam preferably rectangular or square-cross-section, in such case, the pairs of opposite walls 22, 26 being flat walls.

[0020] The second support element 30, as shown in figures 3 and 4, is a beam, with at least two incident walls, an upper wall 31 and a main wall 32, which are approached from above over the first wall support element 20.

[0021] Preferably, the second support element 30 is a C-shaped beam comprising at least one third lower wall 33, in which the three walls 31, 32, 33 have height and depth greater than the respective walls of the tubular beam, so that the second support element 30 can be fitted on the first wall support element 20.

[0022] The second support element 30 comprises, at each end, at least one slotted hole 34 passing through the main wall 32 in a position alignable with respect to the at least one through threaded hole 24 of the first wall support element 20.

[0023] Only one slotted hole 34 at each end of the second support element 30 is shown by way of example.

[0024] The second support element 30 is also fixedly constrained to opposite side walls of the base 12, for example through perforated side plates 36.

[0025] The C-shaped beam, constituting the second support element 30, preferably has mutually perpendicular flat walls.

[0026] The second support element 30 comprises, at each end, on the lower wall 33 a recess 35 alignable with the height adjustment means 40, so as to allow intervening on the height adjustment means.

[0027] The second support element 30 comprises, at each end, a window 37, for example obtained in the lower wall 33, to access the adjustment of a threaded spacer 38, engaging the threaded hole 28 of the first wall support element 20.

[0028] According to the invention, the distance adjustment means 50 and the height adjustment means 40 are threaded stems, respectively arranged in a mutually perpendicular direction and having a fixed abutment with respect to any of the first wall support element 20 and the second support element 30, as well as a threaded engagement with respect to the opposite element.

[0029] According to the embodiment shown by way of example, the threaded engagement and the fixed abutment both of the height adjustment means and of the distance adjustment means are both respectively arranged on the first wall support element 20 and both on the second support element 30.

[0030] The threaded hole 24 passing through the first of the opposite walls 22 bearing the first through holes 21 of the first wall support element 20 actually constitutes the threaded engagement of the height adjustment means 40. The at least one threaded hole of the second holes 25 passing through the second pair of opposite walls 26, orthogonal with respect to the first pair of opposite walls 22, of the first wall support element 20 constitutes the threaded engagement of the height adjustment means 40.

[0031] Each slotted hole 34 of the main wall 32 of the second support element 30 houses the threaded stem of the distance adjustment means 50, whose enlarged head, possibly provided with a washer, rests in fixed abutment against the main wall 32.

[0032] The upper wall 31 of the second support element 30 instead constitutes the fixed abutment of the threaded stem of the height adjustment means 40.

[0033] Both the height adjustment means 40 and the distance adjustment means 50 present at both ends of the hanging device 10 according to the invention can each be adjusted in an independent manner, determining the nearing or away movement of the second support element 30 with respect to the first wall support element 20 according to continuous adjustment positions, of which a few examples are shown in figures 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B.

[0034] The first wall support element 20 is shorter than the second support element 30, which is actually approached from above over the first wall support element 20. In this manner, the slotted holes 34, besides allowing a clearance in height between the two support elements 20 and 30, also allow adjusting the position, in the direction of the width of the wall cabinet 12, of the second support element 30 with respect to the first support element 20 already constrained to the wall.

[0035] The spacer 38, screwed in the first wall support element 20, is adjusted so as to be arranged with the head thereof approached to the main wall 32 of the second support element 30 of the wall cabinet 12. This solution guarantees that the first wall support element 20 is kept parallel to the second support element 30 of the wall cabinet 12 when adjusting the distance from the wall.

[0036] These adjustments for example allow aligning four wall cabinets 12 applied to a wall 11, also considerably uneven, to form a single support plane, as shown in figure 7.

[0037] Figure 8 schematically shows a plan view, on the left, of the unwanted positions where the wall cabinets would be arranged without the distance adjustment means; and on the right, the effect of the adjustment of the distance of the wall cabinets 12 with respect to the wall 11.

[0038] The hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall, subject of the present invention, has the advantage of allowing a simple and accurate adjustment of both sides of the wall cabinet both in terms of height and distance from the wall.

[0039] The hanging device for a wall cabinet adaptable to a wall thus conceived is susceptible to various modifications and variants, all falling within the scope of the invention; furthermore, all details can be replaced by technically equivalent elements. In practice, the materials used, as well as the dimensions, may vary according to the technical requirements.
