Shutter production method for rolls and aluminum covers |
(57) It is method for the production of shutters for rolls and aluminum covers, which
uses patterns of an open intersection type (extruding uteri) and the products being
produced are initially open, while they receive their final format during the stage
of their extrusion.
[0001] It is an invention that concerns a new designing - production and formation method
for venetian blinds of rolling shutters and aluminum cover.
[0002] Their common characteristic is that for the purposes of their profile, the aluminum
products, as they are formed after extruding, are designed and produced by tube uteri
with one or more sections. This has the following disadvantages:
- a. The used production patterns (extruding uteri) are highly expensive.
- b. The used patterns are more sensitive and productivity (low extruding speed) and
low life duration.
- c. Due to their tube form, their profiles are necessarily designed and produced in
a certain thickness, which are less than nine milli-inches (0.9 millimeter), in certain
cases, depending on the morphology of its profile, its thickness may, imperatively,
exceed the one millimeter (1mm).
[0003] This necessary minimum thickness also determines the minimum weight per meter, an
element from which depends deterministically the final cost and its following price.
[0004] The uniqueness and the modernistic characteristic of the present patent relies on
the invention of a new planning and production method of the shutters, initially the
hinged and not the tube profiles and in the following, in the phase of their final
formation, the extruding phase.
[0005] In this way, the following are achieved:
- 1. Use of patterns (extruding uteri) of an open intersection, the cost of which is
50-60% lower than the relevant tube patterns.
- 2. The new open intersection patterns are more durable, their life expectancy is multiplied
(they can be used in the production field as much as to ten times more tones) and
they achieve higher productivity, reaching an extruding speed up to 30% higher.
- 3. The designed and produced profiles can have a minimum thickness of 0,6-0,7 millimeters,
which means that in every case the weight is lessened up to 20-30%.
- 4. In this way and in combination with the lower prices, due to the above factors
(cost reduction, production boosting during extruding), the final cost reduction and
the following characteristics of the sale price of a shutter per meter, under the
application of the new method, exceeds, in every case, the 30%.
- 5. The production boosting and the reduction, up to the point of 20- 30%, of the aluminum
raw materials used, per meter of the produced product, reduces the emission of gas,
and as a result, it contributes in the protection of the environment.
[0006] Finally, the expansion of the shutter, which due to the fact that it consists the
profile of the aluminum, it is produced, at its initial extruding, as an open intersection,
it takes its final format during extruding, due to a system of special rollers that
are added to the extruding machine and through which the shutter is obliged to pass
through when extruding takes place.
1. It is a method for the production of rolling shutters and aluminum covers, which is
characterized by the fact that patterns are being used (extruding uteri) of an open intersection type.\
The produced shutters are initially open and then, during extrusion, they receive
their final format.
