Striped adhesive construction and method and die for making same |
(57) A dual layer die coater sub-assembly (30'') for preparing a pressure-sensitive adhesive
construction and a coating die including said sub-assembly are provided. The dual
layer die coater sub-assembly for preparing a pressure-sensitive adhesive construction
comprises:
a center die (40) having first and second die surfaces;
a first die cover (44) facing the first die surface and forming a first slot (30a)
between the first die cover (44) and the first die surface;
a second die cover (44) facing the second die surface and forming a second slot (30b)
between the second die cover and the second die surface; and
a plurality of first shims (32a) positioned in the first slot.
