Description

Field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to an electric iron, especially to an intelligent electric iron which can control the steam to be exported out or closed.

Background of the invention

[0002] It may happen that the steam is exported out or closed in the improper time due to the misoperation when the prior electric iron is in use. For example, the steam is exported out when the electric iron is placed on the base or when the user doesn't hold the handle. These mistake operations are a kind of waste of power and dangerous, an accident may happens. The prior art can not satisfy the consumer's needs.

Summary of the invention

[0003] The present invention is provided with an intelligent electric iron, which overcomes the disadvantage that the prior electric iron may be suffered misoperation.

[0004] The technology proposal of the present invention to resolve the above problem is:

[0005] An intelligent electric iron includes an ironing unit, which includes a body and a controller to control the steam to be exported out or closed. The body is disposed with a handle. The controller is disposed inside the body; a first detector to detect that whether the handle is held by the user is disposed on the body, and the first detector is signal connected to the controller.

[0006] In another preferred embodiment, the intelligent electric iron further includes a seat, the seat is disposed with a base, which is disposed with a third detector to detect that whether the ironing unit is placed on the seat, a second detector is disposed under the body to detect that whether there is the third detector or clothing under the iron, the second detector is signal connected to the controller.

[0007] In another preferred embodiment, the first detector, the second detector and the third detector are infrared sensors.

[0008] In another preferred embodiment, the first detector is disposed on the handle of the body.

[0009] In another preferred embodiment, the handle includes a housing, which is disposed with a first mount; the first detector is fixed to the first mount.

[0010] In another preferred embodiment, a breakthrough hole is disposed directly opposite to the first detector.

[0011] In another preferred embodiment, a thermal baffle is disposed on the base, a breakthrough groove is disposed on the thermal baffle; the third detector is adopted to run through the breakthrough groove and fixed to base.

[0012] In another preferred embodiment, a heating pan is disposed in the front portion at the bottom of the body, and a second mount is disposed in the rear portion at the bottom of the body, the second detector is fixed to the second mount.

[0013] Compared to the prior art, the technology proposal of present invention:

As the first detector is disposed to detect that whether the user holds the handle, the controller will control the steam to be exported out or closed according to the detect result, which can prevent the misoperation. The steam will be closed from the steam iron when the handle is not held. As the second detector is disposed to detect that whether there is clothing under the steam iron, the controller will control the steam to be exported out or closed according to the detect result, realizing ironing automatically without any button. The operation mode is more simply, convenient and human-based. As the second detector is disposed to detect that whether there is the third detector under the steam iron, the controller can control the steam to be exported out or closed according to the detect result, preventing misoperation. The steam will not be exported out when the ironing unit is placed on the seat, in spite that the handle is held or not. The detectors are infrared sensor with high sense and low cost. The first detector is disposed on the handle of the body, so the detect is accurate. A breakthrough hole is disposed directly opposite to the first detector 130 with accurate sensitivity.
