(57) A steam turbine valve (10) having an integral pressure chamber (18) is disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, the valve (10) for supplying steam includes a valve body (12); and a pressure chamber (18) substantially contained within a wall (14) of the valve body (12), the pressure chamber (18) having an inlet (24) for receiving a pressurized fluid.
