A cooker with an arrangement preventing the cutting of cables

Abstract

 The present invention relates to a cooker (10) with a rear sheet (13). In order to prevent the cutting of the cookers' supply cables (30) by the rear sheets (13) of the cookers, said cooker comprises a body (21); a holding part (23) which provides the assembly of said body (21) to the rear sheet (13) of the cooker (10); a cable protector (20) with a protection wall (22) extending along the sharp surface in order to protect the cable (30) from the sharp surfaces of the sheet; and a housing (131) which is formed for placing the cable protector (20) on said rear sheet (13) and which has a connection extension (132).

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to cookers and particularly relates to cookers compliant to the upper part of Claim 1.

KNOWN STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Power is supplied to the free-standing and built-in ovens by means of the supply cables thereof. In general, said cables enter into the oven through a suitable place of the rear sheet of ovens.

[0003] However, the drawback here is the cutting of the ovens' supply cables by the oven rear sheets. The supply cables may be stripped or damaged by the sharp surfaces of rear sheets.

[0004] There are some researches in order to bring a solution to said drawback. For instance, in the patent application EP1489712, said strain relief has a base part fixed to a housing and having a cable receiving part for the electric cable. The strain relief also has a clamp part which bridges the cable receptacle of the base part. The clamp part can be connected to the base part by a locking mechanism for clamping the electric cable fast. The locking mechanism is formed by teeth on the base part and on the clamp part. The teeth on the base part are provided on opposing arms and face outwards. The teeth on the clamp part are provided on opposing clamp bridges face inwards.

[0005] In the patent application EP0353539, the proposed electrical connector is provided with a terminal board and a clamping device which is integral with said terminal board during use. These consist of two separate elements, each having a reciprocal engaging means. Said clamping device has a pair of arms. One of the arms or both of the arms have a head at the end part thereof. This head can be locked into a hole existing on the terminal board. However, the cookers used in the abovementioned patents and in the present systems do not comprise embodiments preventing the cutting of the supply cables.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The present invention relates to cookers with novel embodiments for preventing the cutting and abrasion of the cookers' supply cables by the rear sheets of the cookers, in order to eliminate the abovementioned disadvantages and to bring new advantages to the related technical field.

[0007] An object of the invention is to provide a cable protector with a low cost and whose assembly is simple, in order to prevent the cutting and abrasion of the cookers' supply cables by the rear sheets of the cookers.

[0008] In order to realize the abovementioned objects and the objects to be obtained from the detailed description below, the present invention is a cooker with a rear sheet. In order to prevent the cutting of the cookers' supply cables by the rear sheets of the cookers, said cooker comprises a body; a holding part which provides the assembly of said body to the rear sheet of the cooker; a cable protector with a protection wall extending along the sharp surface in order to protect the cable from the sharp surfaces of the sheet; and a housing which has a connection extension and which is formed for placing the cable protector on said rear sheet.

[0009] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, there is a resting surface in order to provide the body to hold to the rear sheet in a firmer manner by applying pressure to the rear sheet of the cooker.

[0010] In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, there is a placement aperture which is defined between said resting surface and the body and which is placed to the connection extension of the rear sheet.

THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0019] In this detailed explanation, the subject matter invention is explained with references to the annexed figures without forming any restrictive effect in order to make the subject more understandable. Accordingly, in the detailed description below, the subject matter invention is assumed to be applied to a household type cooker (10). However, with minor revisions, the subject matter invention can also be applied to industrial type of cookers with different properties.

[0020] With reference to Figure 1, the cooker (10) to which the subject matter invention is applied comprises a cover existing on the front surface (213), lateral sheet (12) existing on the two lateral surfaces and a rear sheet (13) existing on the rear surface. The subject matter cable protector (20) is positioned to the part or parts which the cookers' (10) feeding cables (30) contact with the rear sheet (13).

[0021] The subject matter cable protector (20) has a structure similar to C shape and comprises a body (21) extending along a semi-circle so as to form an inner part (211) and an outer part (212). Between the inner part (211) and the outer part (212) of said body (21), a front surface (213) and a rear surface (214) are defined. A protection wall (22) extends orthogonally to the front surface (213) of the body (21). Said protection wall (22) extends peripherally along the inner part (211). The protection wall (22) closes the sharp surfaces of the rear sheet (13). Said protection wall (22) can extend orthogonally to the rear surface (214) of the body (21).

[0022] With reference to Figure 2a and 2b, at the continuation of the outer part (212) of the body (21), there is a holding part (23) which extends peripherally along a certain distance. Said holding part (23) provides the holding of the body (21) to the rear sheet (13). There is a housing (131) on the rear sheet (13), which is compliant to the dimensions of the body (21). Said housing (131) is formed by forming a cut-out on the rear sheet (13). The housing (131) is similar to the body (21) and it is in semi-circle form. At the continuation of the housing (131), there is a connection extension (132), in order to provide the formation of a peripheral contact with the holding part (23). Said connection tab (132) is a tab extending peripherally along the holding part (23).

[0023] On the holding tab (23), there is a placement opening (231) which is placed to said connection extension (132). At the continuation of said placement aperture (231), there is a resting surface (232) extending so as to define a triangular shape. Said resting surface (232) contacts with the rear sheet (13) of the cooker (10) and provides the holding of the cable protector (20) in a firmer manner.

[0024] In the alternative embodiment of the subject matter invention, said body (21) can have a square form whose one side is open or it can have a form similar to a U shape. In such a case, on the rear sheet (13), a housing (131) suitable to the dimensions of the body (21) should be formed. By means of this, the body (21) can completely seat onto the housing (131). Said cable protector (20) is preferably made of plastic based material. Therefore, the pieces like supply cable (30) which can be damaged easily is prevented from being cut by the sharp pieces.

Claims

1. A cooker (10) with a rear sheet (13), characterized in that in order to prevent the cutting of the cookers' supply cables (30) by the rear sheets (13) of the cookers, said cooker comprises a body (21); a holding part (23) which provides the assembly of said body (21) to the rear sheet (13) of the cooker (10); a cable protector (20) with a protection wall (22) extending along the sharp surface in order to protect the cable (30) from the sharp surfaces of the sheet; and a housing (131) which is formed for placing the cable protector (20) on said rear sheet (13) and which has a connection extension (132).

2. A cooker (10) according to the claim 1, wherein a resting surface (232) is provided in order to provide the body (21) to hold to the rear sheet (13) in a firmer manner by applying pressure to the rear sheet (13) of the cooker (10).

3. A cooker (10) according to the claim 1 or 2, wherein a placement aperture (231) is provided which is defined between said resting surface (232) and the body (21) and which is placed to the connection extension (132) of the rear sheet (13).

4. A cooker (10) according to the claim 1, wherein said holding part (23) extends along a certain part of the body (21).

5. A cooker (10) according to the claim 3 or 4, wherein said placement surface extends along the holding part (23).

6. A cooker (10) according to the claim 1, wherein said protection wall (22) extends orthogonally to the body (21).

7. A cooker (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said cable protector (20) extends as a semi-circle in a form similar to a C shape.

8. A cooker (10) according to any of the claims between claim 1 and 6, wherein said cable protector (20) extends as a semi-circle in a form similar to a U shape.

9. A cooker (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said cable protector (20) is made of plastic based material.
