(54) Structure for attaching exhaust gas sensor


(57) An exhaust gas collecting groove 64 extending in a direction of a flow of an exhaust gas is provided to an inner wall of an exhaust port 40 between an outlet port 43 and an exhaust pipe attachment portion 74 in a cylinder head 31 of an internal combustion engine 2, the outlet port 43 being an upstream entrance to the exhaust port 40, the exhaust pipe attachment portion 74 being an exhaust port exit, and the exhaust gas sensor 62 is attached in a way that a front end portion of the exhaust gas sensor 62 is situated in the rear of the exhaust gas collecting groove 64.
