(57) A lithographic printing plate precursor includes: an image-recording layer containing a thermoplastic polymer fine particle, an infrared absorbing agent and a polymer compound; and a support having a hydrophilic surface, and the polymer compound has a star-like shape in which a main chain is branched to three or more branches and the branched main chains have a hydrophilic group in a side chain of the branched main chain.
