Description of the invention
Field of use
[0001] The present invention refers to a horse-riding trousers with antiskid insert according
to the preamble of claim 1.
Technological background and state of the art
[0002] As known, during hose riding activities and sports it there arises the need, i.e.
there is required, a strong adherence contact between the horse-rider and the saddle
with the aim of forming with the saddle, and thus with the horse, by way of saying
"a single body", allowing the horse-rider to better harmonize the movements of the
horse-rider with respect to the horse. Thus providing horse-riding plants with antiskid
inserts and patches formed by "alcantara" fabric, by fabrics of the suede type and
the like has been known over the years.
[0003] It is also known the provision of inserts and patches made of these materials associated
to the trousers in the areas of contact with the saddle, i.e. in the interior part
of the legs and/or on the knee, wherein the inserts are for example part of the trousers
and, when tailoring the trousers, they are sewn to the very fabric forming the remaining
part of the trousers, while patches are sewn on the trousers finished with the forms
and in the desired areas.
[0004] Furthermore, it is also known that, due to the softness of the alcantara fabric,
like synthetic hide or the like, the aforementioned inserts and patches allow obtaining
a rather limited friction between the trousers, i.e. the hose-rider and saddle, whereas
a more reliable friction would be desired in most horse-riding activities.
Summary of the invention
[0005] Therefore, the main object of the present invention is to provide the horse-rider
a greater and reliable adherence to the saddle, with a greater, reliable and long-lasting
friction therewith, during horse-riding activities or sports. According to the invention
this object is attained, in horse-riding trousers, due to the fact that a siliconized
fabric with structured silicone layer is used as an antiskid insert.
[0006] Structuring the surface of the silicone layer of the siliconized fabric, the latter
also being referred to by the term "siliconized molding", allows obtaining a strong
and reliable friction action on the saddle, whose efficiency is determined by the
configuration of the structure of the silicone surface, for example with dot-like
or point-like, strip-like, mesh-like or similar projections or protrusions.
Brief description of the drawings
[0007] Examples of embodiments of horse-riding trousers according to the invention are illustrated
in the attached drawings, wherein:
figure 1 shows a front view of trousers according to the invention for a woman,
figure 2 shows a view of the trousers of figure 1 from the rear,
figure 3 shows a lateral view of the trousers of figures 1 and 2 with legs slightly
apart,
figures 4, 5 and 6 are views similar to those of figures 1, 2 and 3 for men trousers,
figures 7, 8 and 9 are views similar to those of figures 1, 2, 3, respectively 4,
5, 6, on trousers with differently-shaped insert or patch, and
figure 10 shows a top view of a detail on a portion of a known siliconized fabric,
i.e. siliconized molding, used for obtaining the anti-slip inserts of figures 1 to
9, illustrating the silicone layer with uniform structure having projecting dots or
"all-over a pois" applied on the underlying fabric.
Detailed description of the trousers according to the invention
[0008] In the different figures identical parts have the same reference numbers. The horse-riding
trousers according to the invention are indicated in their entirety by 1.
[0009] The trousers 1 are formed by a fabric 2 and by an ergonomic antiskid insert 3 made
of siliconized fabric 4, figure 10, which is constituted in a known manner by a support
fabric 5 on which there is hot-applied - through a molding process - a silicone layer
6 by means of profiled rollers determining the structure of the exposed side of the
silicone layer, where said ergonomic antiskid insert 3 is positioned in the interior
part of the legs of the trousers 1 and also partly covers the front part of the knee
area. The ergonomic antiskid insert 3 is sewn with the remaining part of the fabric
2 forming the trousers, as indicated with dashed line.
[0010] By way of example, the structuration of the siliconized fabric 4, which is also referred
to in the field as "siliconized molding", figure 10, has a configuration with uniformly
distributed dot-like projections 7, i.e. "all-over a pois", on the entire surface.
[0011] Obviously, the variation of such projections 7 also implies varying the friction
force upon contact, with relative pressure, with the legs, i.e. with the ergonomic
antiskid insert or patch 3, on the saddle (not illustrates). The choice of the configuration
of said inserts or patches 3 depends, as known, generally mainly on the provided type
of horse-riding activity or sports.
[0012] What has been described above also applies for the trousers illustrated in figures
4 to 6 and 7 to 9.
[0013] In practice, those skilled in the art may introduce various modifications and variants
of the antiskid inserts or patches without departing from the scope of the present
invention as claimed.
1. Horse-riding trousers (1) with ergonomic antiskid insert (3), characterized in that said ergonomic antiskid insert (3) is formed by a siliconized fabric (4) with structured
outer surface.
2. Horse-riding trousers (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the ergonomic antiskid insert (3) extends on the internal area of the legs and on
the knee area.
3. Horse-riding trousers (1) according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the siliconized fabric insert (3) is a constituting part of the trousers (1) and
it is sewn therein.
4. Horse-riding trousers (1) according to claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the ergonomic antiskid insert (3) is provided in form of a patch and extends for
a small area at the knee and/or the internal area of the legs.
