(54) Sponge for wiping window glass with inner and outer layer for wiping

(57) A wiping sponge for window glass and other surfaces innovative because of possibility to hold safely and use in the more comfortable way. The sponge has two spongy layers jointed together on the opposite edges and a hole between them to hold hand inside (fig. 5). The hole enables to turn internal layers away to outside and using internal areas what including the possibility of using 4 cleaning layers instead of as a default two.

Description

[0001] Background: The present disclosure relates to a demister sponge (anti mist pad). In particular, disclosure relates to a demister sponge with hole to hold hand and wipe a window glass safely. Besides that there is possibility to cover spongy layers with other materials and use the sponge for ex. application of wax.

[0002] All over the world people use different sponges in different sizes and shapes covered with various materials, all these items consist of inner part (usually polyurethane sponge) covered with outer layer. Usually sponge is kept with palm, this way of use and wipe the glass is not comfortable-it causes pain of the hand bent in the unnatural way and is a reason for careless driving - often happens, that the sponge is falling out of the hand and is flowing up to driver legs who is looking for it against concentrate himself on driving. The most popular demister pads are made of cuboid spongy material, in polish utility designs you can find item RU 54772 called as window cleaning pad prepared of spongy material put inside two sewed suede layers.

[0003] Summary: The advantage of using the sponge for wiping glass of my design is that it is put on the hand and the glass is wiped with the outside of the hand with respect to bending the pane what prevents slipping out of hand. This way of using is possible thanks to special construction of the sponge and gives safety during driving a car esp. if you have to wipe glass quickly there is no risk that the sponge falls on the floor obstructing the pedal or turning the attention of the user away. It is possible to drive a car with the sponge put on the hand.

[0004] The structure of the sponge enables to use it in the traditional way by catching with the palm and put fingers into the hole what allows safe use - safeguards sponge against slipping from the hand and causing threatening during driving a car.

[0005] Thank to such sponge construction it is possible to use 4 cleaning surfaces and modify the look of the item and join alternate inner-outer layers (Fig. 6)

[0006] This kind of demister pad is made of two spongy layers what gives possibility to modify the item and cover separate layers with different kinds of material. The spongy base may be covered with different cleaning materials -outer layers. The base spongy layers are joined but there is a hole for hand, the hole enables to turn inner layers away to outside and using inner areas what including the possibility of using 4 cleaning layers instead of usual two.

[0007] The sponge construction gives the possibility to use 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 layers. (Fig. 1 - 2 layers, Fig. 2 - 3 layers, Fig. 3 - 4 layers, Fig. 4 - 5 layers, Fig. 5 - 6 layers) - both inner and outer layers are for wiping window glass but if we cover layers with other material we can use the sponge to apply wax, silicon, polish, to buff, dry, drain, clean etc. other surfaces.

[0008] Description of the Drawings: Sideview of this utility design is shown on Fig. 1, on the Fig. 2, Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 there are another sideviews with useage of each layers.

On Fig. 1 sponge is made of two spongy layers 1, 2 creating the internal hole to the hand, in addition every of these layers has two usable areas.

On Fig. 2 one of usable areas is covered with additional layer 3.

On Fig. 3 two of usable areas are covered with additional layers 3, 4.

On Fig. 4 three of usable areas are covered with additional layers 3, 4, 5.

On Fig. 5 four of usable areas are covered with additional layers 3, 4, 5, 6.

On Fig. 1 to 5 layers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are joined together on both sides with outer stitch.

On Fig. 6 layers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are joined together on one sides with outer stitch and the opposite side with inner stitch.
