(54) VACUUM CLEANER AND CASING THEREOF


(57) A vacuum cleaner and a casing (1) thereof are provided. The vacuum cleaner includes the casing (1), a motor (21) and a blower fan (22) which is driven by the motor (21) for sucking air. The inner space of the casing (1) is divided into a motor chamber (6) and a dust chamber (7) by a partition wall (5). The partition wall (5) is provided with an air suction grid (8) which makes air current flow into the motor chamber (6) from the dust chamber (7). The partition wall (5) is a side wall of the motor chamber (6); the partition wall (5), the motor chamber (6) and the casing (1) are formed in integration; the opening direction of the motor chamber (6) on the casing (1) is opposite to the opening direction of the dust chamber (7) on the casing (1). The motor (21) and the blower fan (22) are fixed in the motor chamber (6). In the present invention, the partition wall located between the motor chamber and the dust chamber is sturdy and durable and has good leak tightness; the motor is simple is simple in fixing structure and occupies small space of base, and thus facilitate the miniaturization development trend of horizontal vacuum cleaner.
