(57) A dispensing device (10) for dispensing a cosmetic product is provided, the dispensing
device comprising a case (12), a dispensing container having a cavity for containing
the cosmetic product and a dispensing head having a dispensing opening (26), wherein
the dispensing container (14) is translatable inside the case (12) between a retracted
position, in which the dispensing opening (26) is accommodated within the case (12),
and an extended position, in which the dispensing opening (26) protrudes from the
case (12), and a transmission element (30) rotatably mounted with respect to the case
(12) and accommodated within the case (12), wherein a rotational movement of the transmission
element (30) causes a translational movement of the dispensing container (14) with
respect to the case (12). The device (10) further comprises an actuating element (132)
translatable with respect to the case (12) and attached to an outer wall of the case
(12), wherein the actuating element (132) cooperates with the transmission element
(30) by first linking means adapted for converting the translational movement of the
actuating element (132) along the outer wall of the case (12) into the rotational
movement of the transmission element (30) for moving the dispensing container (14)
between the retracted position and the extended position.
