protrusions 31, 71 engaging with each other are made from a crystal which contains
Jade, rock phosphate, red clay plastic body, ceramic plastic body, tourmaline or from
a crystal which contains chitosan. In present invention, the first protrusions 21,
61 engaging with each other, and the second protrusions 31, 71 engaging with each
other can be made selectively from a crystal which contains Jade, rock phosphate,
red clay plastic body or ceramic plastic body. Further, the first protrusions 21,
61 engaging with each other, and the second protrusions 31, 71 engaging with each
other can be made from a crystal which contains chitosan, tourmaline that radiate
negative ion or other natural materials, compounds beneficial to human body.
[0030] And, it is possible to maximize the functionality of massage or acupressure by making
the first backrest 60 return to original position from rotated position by a first
elastic member which is connected to the first backrest rotational axis 40, and making
the second backrest 70 return to original position from rotated position by a second
elastic member which is connected to the second backrest rotational axis 50.
[0031] Herefrom, the first elastic member and the second elastic member are not illustrated
but, they can be composed of coil springs that covers outside circumference surface
of the first backrest rotational axis 40 or the second backrest rotational axis 50
having one end part coupled to the first backrest rotational axis 40 or the second
backrest rotational axis 50 and the other end part coupled on one side of inner circumference
surface of insertion hole (not illustrated) of the first backrest 60 where the first
backrest rotational axis 40 inserted into, or on one side of inner circumference surface
of insertion hole (not illustrated) of the second backrest 70 where the second backrest
rotational axis 50 inserted into.
[0032] Then, the way of massage or acupressure being serviced will be explained in time
order with reference to Figs. 4 and 5.
[0033] Fig. 4 is a plane view that partially shows the major elements of the chair having
a detachable backrest panel illustrated in Fig. 1,
[0034] Fig. 5 briefly shows the way how the left and the right backrest panels massage or
press acupressure step by step.
[0035] With reference to Figs. 4 and 5, when user sit on the chair seat S of the chair 100
and lean back, the first backrest 60 and the second backrest 70 adhere onto the user's
back, then the first backrest support 60 and the second backrest support 70 engage
with each other without slipping against the first and the second support members
20, 30 and rotate. Thus, rotation angle slowly changes.
[0036] At this moment, the first backrest 60 and the second backrest 70 can rotate within
maximum 180 degrees.
[0037] In particular, the first backrest 60 and the second backrest 70 can return back to
the original position from rotated position by the first elastic member and the second
elastic member which are connected to the first backrest rotational axis 40 or the
second backrest rotational axis 50.
[0038] Hereinafter, the way of acupressure and massage being performed will be briefly described.
[0039] At first, the first backrest 60 and the second backrest 70 adhere onto the user's
back, then the first backrest support 60 and the second backrest support 70 engage
with each other when the user sit on the chair seat S of the chair 100 and lean back.
So, the first protrusions 21, 61 engaging and corresponding with each other, and the
second protrusions 31, 71 engaging and corresponding with each other are pressurized.
By this, acupressure can be applied all over the user's back.
[0040] In this situation, the first backrest 60 and the first support member 20, and the
second backrest 70 and the second support member 30 rotates along the bend of the
user's body when the user changes his posture backward and forward, leftward and rightward.
Therefore, the first protrusions 21, 61 engaging and corresponding with each other,
and the second protrusions 31, 71 engaging and corresponding with each other massage
the user's back backward and forward, leftward and rightward around originally pressed.
[0041] With reference to Fig. 6, another embodiment of the present invention regarding to
a chair having a detachable backrest panel with a massager further equipped with neck
massager part will be described hereinafter.
[0042] As illustrated in Fig. 6, the chair having a detachable backrest panel with a massager
of the present invention can further comprise neck massager member 90 having third
protrusions 91 formed along one side of the outer circumference surface.
[0043] At this moment, the neck massager member 90 is equipped on the extension line of
the second backrest rotational axes 50. Massage on the user's neck portion can be
performed by rotation of the third protrusions 91 while it is engaging with the second
protrusions 31 which are formed on the outer peripheral surface on one side of the
second support member 30.
[0044] At this moment, the neck massager member 90 can rotate within maximum 180 degrees.
[0045] The chair having a detachable backrest panel with a massager of the present invention
illustrated in Figs 1 - 6 has been described as a student chair or an office chair,
but the present invention is not limited to a general student chair or an office chair
and can be applied to a chair, a wheel chair, a stroller, a bed and a chair without
legs only if it can provide such construction by which accumulated fatigue is quickly
removed without using a separate power supply, by which spine deformation is prevented
and corrected, and by which user convenience is improved. In particular, effectiveness
of massage and acupressure can be improved with vibration and heat caused by a vibration
member and a heating member in case that the vibration and the heating members are
added to the first backrest 60, the second backrest 70 and the chair seat S.
