(54) Vacuum cleaner having a dust separating apparatus


(57) A vacuum cleaner (1) provided with a dust separating apparatus (300) which has an improved aesthetic quality and has an increased size without increasing the height of the vacuum cleaner (1). The dust-separating apparatus (300) is easily detachable with respect to a vacuum cleaner body (10), and is provided with a cover (500) that is easily detachable when dirt collected in the dust collecting compartment (614) is discarded. The vacuum cleaner (1)includes a first cyclone part (613) and a second cyclone part (640), and a first dust collecting compartment (614) configured to collect dirt separated from the first cyclone part (613) is formed at a lower side of the first cyclone part (613)and the second cyclone part (640).
