(57) A robotic apparatus for cleaning a train of rotating rollers (2) for processing metal
products, comprises: abrasive means (5) for removing dirt and/or surface irregularities
from the rotating rollers (2); first (4a) and second (4b) means for advancement on
the train of rotating rollers (2), and a navigation device (15), provided with absolute
transducer means for detecting the position of the apparatus (1) on the train of rotating
rollers (2), and with a processing and driving module that, depending on the position
indicated by the absolute transducer means and taking account of the rotation speed
of the rotating rollers (2), consequently drives the first and second advancement
means (4) in a manner that is selective and differentiated from one another to generate
a desired transverse and longitudinal advancement on the train of rotating rollers
(2), enabling the abrasive means (5) to treat the entire surface of each rotating
roller (2) underneath and/or possible further rollers placed above said robotic apparatus
(1).
