(54) Fluidproof connector and assembling method therefor


(57) An object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof connector in which a missing part and a lost part of a seal ring can be easily confirmed.
In a waterproof connector C, a seal ring 30 mounted on a housing 10 is sandwiched between the housing 10 and a connectable mating housing to seal between the housing 10 and the mating housing. The seal ring 30 includes a plurality of locking projections 33 to be engaged with a locking wall 13 provided in the housing 10. Each locking projection 33 includes a shaft portion 34 and a head portion 35 projecting toward opposite sides from the shaft portion 34 and the head portion 35 is passed through the locking wall 13 to be engaged with the rear surface of the locking wall 13. A protection wall 18 standing up around the head portions 35 is provided behind the locking wall 13. The protection wall 18 is formed with window portions 26 penetrating through the protection wall 18 near the respective head portions 35.
