(54) SENSOR MODULE


(57) There is provided a sensor module that is readily attachable to and detachable from a mobile terminal, can incorporate a sensor function at low development cost and is capable of maintaining the waterproofness of a mobile phone. The sensor module of the present invention comprises a housing, a sensor element, a sensor data processing part, a sensor data recording part, contactless communication means, a module communication part and a module control part. The housing has attaching means for attaching and detaching the sensor module to and from a mobile terminal. The sensor data processing part acquires data from the sensor element and performs predetermined processing on the acquired data.
