(54) Method of applying a polyurethane adhesive to a substrate


(57) A system and method for applying a two-part adhesive to a substrate includes a prime mover (30) for providing an output torque, a first pump (36A) connected to the prime mover (30) for receiving the output torque, the first pump (36A) having an inlet (38A) and an outlet (38B), a second pump (36B) connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the second pump (36B) having an inlet (40A) and an outlet (40B), a first compound in communication with the inlet of the first pump, a second compound in communication with the inlet of the second pump, a first accumulator (50A) in communication with the outlet of the first pump, a second accumulator (50B) in communication with the outlet of the second pump, a first manifold (52A) in communication with the outlet of the first pump, and a second manifold (52B) in communication with the outlet of the second pump.
