(57) Lock device comprising a lock case (13) and a forend (11), which lock case is arranged for mortise mounting in a door leaf (1) and defines an inner space, in which a number of lock components are accommodated, and which forend is fixed to the lock case. The forend is fixed to a first reinforcement member (30), which is accommodated in the inner space and which has means for fixing the reinforcement member to the door leaf.
