[0001] The present invention relates to a supporting unit for wall coating panels.
[0002] The invention also relates to a coating panel provided with a plurality of devices
produced according to the invention.
[0003] As is well known to experts in the field, for the wall assembly of coating panels,
for example for the production of "boiseries" or other types of coatings, for various
types of environments and/or walls, devices are preferably used which allow not only
the fixing of each panel to the wall, but also at least its height (vertical) regulation.
[0004] A device of this type is described for example in
EP-A-2199488.
[0005] The device of
EP-A-2199488 has a completely satisfactory functioning but is relatively costly to produce due
to the presence of a slide which, activated by a screw, allows the regulation of the
panel in height.
[0006] More specifically, the regulation screw, which is housed on a base fixed to the panel,
acts on a plate which is fixed to the wall, not directly, but through another intermediary
component, which is the slide.
[0007] For applications which do not strictly require the possibility of regulating the
position of the panel in height (vertical), supporting systems have already been proposed,
comprising a plate and a counterplate, identical to each other, suitable for being
fixed to the panel and wall respectively.
[0008] Although identical to each other, the configuration of said plate and counterplate,
however, is such as to require that they be fixed to the panel and wall with a reciprocal
overturned orientation (position) with respect to each other.
[0009] This requires great precision in fixing the plate and counterplate to the panel and
wall: this precision is not always respected and this causes difficulty in assembling
the panel to the wall, and an incorrect positioning with respect to the adjacent panels.
[0010] The general objective of the present invention is to provide a system for the wall
assembly of coating panels comprising a plate suitable for being fixed to the panel
and a counterplate suitable for being fixed to the wall, which is at the same time
economical to produce, simple and rapid to apply, and with a satisfactory functioning.
[0011] This objective is achieved by a device having the characteristics specified in claim
1 and in the enclosed subclaims.
[0012] The structural and functional characteristics of the present invention, and its advantages
with respect to the known art, will appear even more evident from the following description,
referring to the enclosed drawings, which show an embodiment example of the same invention.
In the drawings:
- figure 1 is a raised view according to the arrow F of figure 3, illustrating the plate
(counterplate) forming the supporting unit of the invention;
- figure 2 is a raised view according to the arrow F1 of figure 3;
- figure 3 is a raised view according to the arrow F2 of figure 1;
- figure 4 is a plan view according to the arrow F3 of figure 1;
- figure 5 is a perspective view of the supporting plate (counterplate) ;
- figure 6 is a perspective view illustrating a panel provided with two supporting plates
according to the invention, in which a pair of corresponding counter-plates protrudes
from the wall;
- figure 7 is a vertical section illustrating a panel assembled on the wall by means
of the supporting unit according to the invention; and
- figure 8 is a perspective view illustrating the supporting unit according to the invention
in detail.
[0013] With reference to the drawings, the supporting unit according to the invention comprises
the combination of a metallic plate 10 and a metallic counterplate 10A that have the
specific feature of being perfectly identical to each other.
[0014] The plate 10 is destined for being fixed to a panel P, whereas the counterplate 10A
is destined for being fixed to a wall M; as can be clearly seen in figures 7 and 8,
the positioning of said plate 10 and counterplate 10A is specular, even if at different
heights.
[0015] Said plate 10 and counterplate 10A have a central section 11, 11A which is withdrawn
with respect to a riser 12, 12A and a skirt 13, 13A.
[0016] The central section 11, 11A has a series of pass-through holes 14, 14A for the passage
of screws 15 (for fixing the plate 10 to the panel P) and dowels 16 (for fixing the
counterplate 10A to the wall M), figures 6-8.
[0017] Slots 9, 9A are also envisaged for fixing the plate 10 to the panel and counterplate
10A to the wall M, with the possibility of horizontal regulation.
[0018] The riser 12, 12A has two terminal run-end projections 17, 17A which limit the lateral
movement of the plate 10 with respect to the counterplate 10A.
[0019] The functioning of the supporting unit, object of the present invention, is evident
from what is described above with reference to the drawings and is briefly as follows.
[0020] With reference to the examples of figures 6-8, a pair of plates 10 and counterplates
10A are fixed (specularly facing each other - even if at different heights - and levelled)
to the panel P and wall M respectively.
[0021] The panel P can then be anchored to the wall M by connecting the skirts 13 of the
bases 10 to the risers 12A of the counterplates 10A, with the skirts 13 positioned
between the projections 17A, as clearly illustrated in detail in figure 8.
[0022] The panel P can therefore be moved horizontally within the limits of the projections
17A.
[0023] The objective mentioned in the preamble of the description has therefore been achieved.
