(54) Box with a carrier of information

(57) The invention refers to a shape of a box with a frame which is in the form of especially a regular polyhedron or a solid of revolution. It is made from thermoplastic plastic material, it has a frame (5) making a uniform whole with the shape (4); the frame (5) has at least two edges (2) with a fissure (1) for placing carriers of information or advertisement.
According to the invention the shape has a frame (5) with at least two opposite edges (2) with a fissure (1) for sliding in the carrier of information or advertisement. The shape may have the form of a closing of a container in the form of a lid, cover, screw top, or the side of the packaging; and it may make an arbitrary fragment of a surface of the packaging.
The shape may have a full or partial rear wall (3), which is flat or shaped according to needs.

Description

[0001] The subject of the invention is a shape of a box with a frame to be placed on any surface of the box or its element, intended for placing carriers of information, advertising, packaging, decorative and toy materials, making a whole with a box of any shape.

[0002] There are known different methods of placing information about the product on a box, the packaging of a product, with simultaneously placed graphic image in the form of a stuck paper or plastic label, or the placing of the lenticular system on the external surface. The imprint on the external surface of the packaging is also known.

[0003] There are known frames for the exhibition of vinyl records in the form of a typical frame with a construction for the fixing and placing of the record.

[0004] The aim of the invention is a shape of a box with a frame making a whole, in the form of a box or its part, enabling easy and quick placing of any information or decoration, especially for boxes intended for carriers of information in the form of CDs (compact discs).

[0005] According to the invention, the essence of the solution is a shape in the form of, especially, a regular polyhedron or a solid of revolution, made from thermoplastic plastic material, with a frame making a uniform whole with the shape; the frame has at least two edges with a fissure for placing carriers of information or advertisement. According to the invention, the shape has at least two opposite edges with a fissure for sliding in carriers of information or advertisement.

[0006] According to the invention, the shape may be a closing of a container in a form of a lid, cover, screw top, or the side of the packaging.

[0007] The shape may make any part of the packaging surface, and possess a full or partial rear wall.

[0008] The rear wall of the shape may be flat or shaped according to needs.

[0009] The solution according to the invention has a frame for free placing of a graphic element; the frame makes a monolithic external surface of the packaging and is situated on an external front, rear, side or spine surface of the packaging, with straight or rounded rims of the edge; the frame may be maximally on the whole or a part of the external surface of the packaging. In the frame, graphic elements made from paper or plastic material may be freely placed.

[0010] According to the invention, the shape of a box with a frame may be a closing of a container in a form of a lid, cover, screw top, or the side of the packaging; it may be any fragment of the surface of the packaging; it may have any shape, a rectangle, a polygon, a ring, or an oval, with a spatial drawing, or it may be placed on any surface of the packaging.

[0011] The solution according to the invention is in the form of a shape, which may be, e.g., a characteristic packaging intended for carriers of information in the form of CDs, DVDs, BLU-RAYs, with a frame, making a uniform whole, on a head external surface, into which a plate with lenticular lens, bearing an image and information about the product, or a label from paper or plastic material, is slid.

[0012] In the solution according to the invention the frame may have a full or partial rear wall, which is flat or has a formed catch for carriers of information in the form of records, and formed catches for inserts in the form of booklets or advertizing materials.

[0013] Due to the construction of the packaging the frame may be made on the front, rear, or even spine part of the packaging. The frame may fill up the whole front part of the packaging, or it may be placed on a fragment of the front part of the packaging. The side edges of the frame may be closed, while at least two fissures allow for stable placing of a graphic element. It is also possible to slide in a graphic element through an open edge in the form of a fissure. The fissure at the edge of the frame may be placed at the top, the underside or the side of the packaging. The edges of the frame may be straight or rounded. The side edges of the frame may be formed from two opposite sides, so that after straightening the slightly bent graphic material is well fixed in the fissure under the edges of the frame.

[0014] The solution according to the invention may have the form of the shape intended for any purpose.

[0015] Made from plastic materials, shapes according to the invention are manufactured by means of injection moulding in injection moulds of shapes in the form of a box or its element, with a frame on the adequate side, intended for placing various materials. According to the invention, other shapes may be manufactured in the same way.

[0016] The shape with a frame manufactured according to the invention may be made from transparent or opaque thermoplastic plastic material.

[0017] The solution according to the invention has been presented in examples of embodiment and on the enclosed illustration material Fig. 1 to Fig. 16, without limiting their application.
