(54) Ring-traveler system of ring spinning machine


(57) A ring-traveler system of a ring spinning machine is of a non-liquid lubrication type. The ring-traveler system includes a ring and a traveler that travels along the ring. A plurality of recesses and a plurality of flat ridges are arranged alternately on a surface portion of one of the ring and the traveler. The other one of the ring and the traveler slides on the surface portion when the traveler travels. Each of the recesses has a depth of 0.1 to 20 µm. Each of the flat ridges has a width of 1 to 250 µm.
