Device for the transfer of valuables

Abstract

 The herein disclosed device is related to the security domain, in the context of the transfer of valuables or assets which require safety and protection of persons and property and it is intended for the night service.
Particularly, the said device is installed in the vertical position, thus saving space when opened, and it has a reduced thickness when closed comparatively to existing devices in the marketplace.
The aforementioned device is characterized in that it comprises a stainless steel box (1), which is structured from the inside (2), wherein two retractable lids are fitted, i.e. an inner lid (3) and an outer (4). The said lids are connected to each other by a triangular lateral element. They are opened by means of a lock (13)(14) which is provided in the inner surface. The element can basculate around the stainless steel box (1), depending as the valuables are deposited from the inside or from the outside.

Description

I Field of the Invention

[0001] This invention relates to a device intended for the transfer of valuables and other objects, within the context of security areas or night service which require appropriate safety measures for the protection of people and property, being referred to as device for the transfer of valuables.

Detailed description of the invention

[0003] This invention relates to a device for the transfer of valuables, which is made from stainless steel and comprised of the following components:

• A stainless steel metal box (1), which is structured from the inside with metal profiles (2).
• The stainless steel metal box (1) is provided with a stainless steel rigid flap (5) serving as a finial to the rigid support (6).
• Fastening to the rigid support (6) is made by a reinforced stainless steel adjustable ring (7).
• To the stainless steel metal box (1) are associated two lids which are fixed by hinges, i.e. the inner lid (3) wherein the security system is located, and the outer lid (4) which is fully flat and levelled with the surface of the ring (5), in order to avoid eventual acts of vandalism.
• The two lids are connected to each other by a retractable triangular lateral element (8), when the object is closed. The said element (8) is fixed to the outer lid (4) by means of a welded hinge (9). The connection to the inner lid is made by a fitting (10).
• On the inside, there is a retractable stainless steel metal tray (11), which is fixed to the structure of the inner lid (12).
• The security system operates by means of a lock (13) (14) provided in the inner lid (3) and in the ring of the metal box (1), which can be actuated by pressing a button (15).

[0004] The device which the object of this invention operates by retracting the outer and inner lids, which are connected to each other by means of two lateral parts, and a tray intended for the deposit of valuables, according to the hereinafter described.

• The box is fixed to the rigid support and closed.
• The inner gate is opened by pressing the existing button (15).
• The lateral flaps (8) are positioned into the groove of the inner gate (10).
• The tray (11) is accommodated, which is a retractable stainless steel metal bottom tray.
• By pressing the lock provided in the central part of the box (14), the element is retracted towards the outside.
• After placing the valuables on the tray (11), the said button (14) is pressed once again so that the element retracts towards the inside.
• The same procedure is repeated as many times as necessary.
• At the end of the service, the lateral flap (8) is removed from the existing grooves in the inner lid (10) in order to close this lid (3), bringing it back to its closed initial position.

[0005] The device which is the object of this invention has a small thickness when closed.

Claims

1. The device for the transfer of valuables is intended for the night service and deposit of valuables and other assets which require safety conditions, being characterized in that it comprises:

- a stainless steel box (1), which is structured from the inside (2), wherein two retractable lids are fitted, i.e. an inner lid (3) and an outer lid (4).

- a security system.

- a retractable metal tray (11).

2. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the said stainless steel metal box (1) is structured from the inside with metal profiles (2).

3. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the said stainless steel metal box (1) is provided with a stainless steel rigid flap (5) serving as a finial to a rigid support (6).

4. A device according to claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the fastening to the rigid support (6) is made by a reinforced stainless steel adjustable ring (7).

5. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that to the stainless steel metal box (1) are associated two lids, which are fixed by hinges, i.e. the inner lid (3) wherein the security system is located, and the outer lid (4) which is fully flat and levelled with the surface of the ring (5), in order to avoid eventual acts of vandalism, the said lids being connected to each other by a retractable triangular lateral element (8), when the object is closed.

6. A device according to claims 1 and 5, characterized in that the element (8) is fixed to the outer lid (4) by means of a welded hinge (9), and the connection to the inner lid is made by a fitting (10).

7. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that a retractable stainless steel metal tray (11) is provided on the inside, which is fixed to the structure of the inner lid (12).

8. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the security system operates by means of a lock (13) (14) provided in the inner lid (3) and in the ring of the metal box (1), which can be actuated by pressing a button (15).

9. A device according to the previous claims, characterized in that it is installed vertically for a customised service and in standing position, the said device being suitable for application in masonry, glass or other resistant materials which can support its own weight.

10. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that its actuation is performed by retracting the inner and outer gates which are connected to each other by means of a triangular element.
