(54) Control methods and devices for energy delivery


(57) A system configured to deliver energy to an airway in a lung, the system comprising: an energy delivery device having a temperature detecting element and an energy emission element; an energy generator configured to be coupled to the energy emission element and having an activation state and a standby state, wherein energy is delivered to the energy emission element in the activation state and not in the standby state; and a controller having a processor, the processor being configured to provide an indication when: a temperature measured by the temperature detecting element is not within a predetermined temperature range; or an impedance of an energy emission circuit between the energy generator, the energy emission element, and a patient is not within a predetermined impedance range.
