(57) The present invention relates to an improved device for a manhole cover which comprises a first and a second bowl, wherein the second bowl is suitable to be inserted into the first bowl, wherein the second bowl is provided with at least one or several lifting elements, which lifting elements are provided with a bore, wherein the bore is sealed by a sealing element, wherein the sealing element is made of a magnetically sensitive material and the sealing element is suitable to be linearly displaced and/or removed by means of a magnet. In addition, the present invention relates to a lifting element and a sealing element for and a method for lifting the manhole cover.
