(57) An apparatus for adjusting the level of an interface between an offshore foundation
6 and a structure 7 to be mounted thereto, comprising two shims 1,1', each rotatable
about a rotational axis with respect to the other and to the offshore foundation 6,
wherein the shims 1,1' are for positioning one on top of the other between the offshore
foundation 6 and the structure 7, and wherein each shim 1,1' has a width generally
transverse to the rotational axis and a depth generally in the direction of the rotational
axis, and the depth of the shim 1,1' varies generally linearly across the width of
the shim 1,1'.
