(54) Binding processing apparatus and image forming system


(57) A binding processing apparatus (100; 360) performs binding processing on a sheet bundle, and includes: a stacking unit (1; 361) configured to stack multiple sheets (S), as the sheet bundle, in a state where toner is fixed to a part or all of a region which becomes a binding margin portion; a pressurizing unit (5; 366; 392) configured to sandwich and pressurize the binding margin portion; a heating unit (2; 372, 373; 391) configured to heat the toner in the binding margin portion in a state where the binding margin portion is pressurized by the pressurizing unit (5; 366; 392); and a cooling unit (3; 364, 365) configured to cool the sheets (S) so that the heat of the binding margin portion does not diffuse to another portion of the sheets (S) when the heating unit (2; 372, 373; 391) heats the binding margin portion
