Description

[0001] The invention relates to the building industry and is intended for facing doors, windows and other openings of buildings and premises, mainly as a jamb lining of window and door openings.

[0002] Known in the art is a shaped panel disclosed in patent RU 2372455, class E04F13/08, 2009. The panel comprises a visible side, a first longitudinal side which is provided with a first male connection means, and a second longitudinal side located on the opposite side of the first longitudinal side and includes a first female connection means, said first connection means being used for connection to each other of the longitudinal sides of nearby shaped panels resulting in that the first male connection means is connected with the first female connection means; the shaped panel also includes a second connection means intended for connection of the end faces of the nearby shaped panels, in which the second connection means includes a second male connection means which is integrally connected to the first end face, and a second female connection means which is integrally connected to the second end face located opposite to the first end face, the second connection means being used for connection to each other of the end faces of the nearby shaped panels in such a manner that the second male connection means joints the second female connection means. The panel also includes a butting means used for an exclusion of complete covering of the second male connection means in the joint position by the second female connection means of the nearby shaped panel so that in the joint position at least one section of the second male connection means remains visible so that this section looks as a junction of the butt ends between the adjacent shaped panels.

[0003] The prior art is disadvantageous in that the profile is made of a flat sheet without stiffening members that assumes its relative flexibility in all directions and, as consequence, defluxion from a straight-line surface and nonflatness. Besides, the use of the panel as a jamb lining is difficult, because it requires additional equipment for cutting from the panel of elements which could be used for finishing window and door openings, and it is also associated with additional works for sealing the butt joints.

[0004] The closest analog is a corner for facing an external surface of a building made of plastic by an injection molding method - the patent of the Russian Federation on useful model Nº 74408, class E 04 F 13/00, 2008. The corner has a decorative front face and installation areas placed on its perimeter and displaced relative to its front face with formation of slots for flush placement therein of panels from lateral sides, the lateral installation areas having elongated holes for fastening the corner with a gap to the building surface.

[0005] The known corner has insufficient hardness of its structure that can result in appearance of uneven facing surface and also limits the field of its application.

[0006] An object of the present invention is to create an angular facing profile (jamb lining) for facing door, window and other openings of buildings and the premises whose construction would be more rigid, reliable and universal in installation.

[0007] This technical result is attained due to the fact that the angular facing profile comprises two facing elements connected by a single end-face side at an angle corresponding to the angle formed by the walls of the opening being faced to which the profile adjoins by the rear side and each of which includes a central section, a first lateral section and a second lateral section of a rounded shape in the cross section, curved towards the profile front face, arranged at the different sides of the central section, and a Γ-shaped fastening section for attachment to the wall located at the rear side of the profile and connected by one side with the central and second lateral sections at their junction place; between the other side of the Γ-shaped fastening section arranged in parallel to the rear side of the profile and the second lateral section there is provided a gap capable of accommodating the attachable facing profile; on the other end-face side of the central section and the second lateral section there is provided a protruding mounting element, and on the other end-face side of the second lateral section there is at least one projection with a possibility of connection to other facing profiles.

[0008] The connection of facing elements at an angle corresponding to the angle formed by walls of the opening being faced, to which the profile adjoins through the rear side, allows one to expand the field of application of the construction and to use it not only for facing square openings but also semicircular and other geometrical forms.

[0009] Each rounded lateral section is made with a possibility of elastic bending with respect to the Γ-shaped fastening section disposed in parallel to the end-face side of the profile that bates the requirements to the accuracy of manufacture of the attachable facing panels by their thickness and allows one to attach panels of a different thickness with rigid fastening. The Γ-shaped fastening section arranged in parallel to the end-face side of the profile has mounting holes for fastening it to the wall, said holes being located beyond the boundary of each rounded lateral section and being easily accessible. The thickness of each first lateral section is at least not less than the width of the gap between the rounded lateral section and the Γ-shaped fastening section arranged in parallel to the end-face side of the profile.

[0010] Each protruding mounting element whose shape in cross section repeats the shape of the cross-section of the central section and the first lateral section is displaced with respect to the front face into the profile for a value of the profile wall thickness that allows one to increase the reliability and strength of connection of the profiles and to obtain almost ideal even front face of the connected profiles without any visible junctions.

[0011] Each projection whose shape in a cross section repeats the shape of the cross-section of the rounded lateral section is displaced with respect to the front face inside the profile for the value of the profile wall thickness that also allows one to increase the reliability and strength of the connection of the profiles and to obtain almost ideally even front face of the connected profiles without any visible junctions. Bevels are made on the face sides of projections and mounting elements.

[0012] Provided between the projection and the mounting element is a slot capable of accommodating the mounting element of the attachable facing profile that also allows one to increase the reliability and strength of the connection of the profiles and to obtain almost ideally even front face of the connected profiles without any visible junctions.

[0013] The front face of the central and lateral sections is made with a decor.

[0014] The advantage of such improvements of the angular facing profile consists in a significant increase of the strength of the profile structure due to the rigid connection of the profile facing elements. The presence of shaped mounting elements and projections with bevels and slots grooves allows one to increase the strength and reliability of the construction at installation - connection with other facing profiles due to elimination of possibility of an angular displacement relative to the profile of other attachable facing profiles. The possibility of elastic bending of the lateral section with respect to the Γ-shaped fastening section disposed in parallel to the rear face of the allows one to increase the strength and reliability of the construction at the installation - connection with the lateral facing panels due to high rigidity of the construction. The possibility of connection of the profile facing elements at different angle makes the profile universal allowing the user to expand the field of application of the construction.

[0016] A preferable embodiment of the invention.

[0017] The facing profile made by means the injection molding method has two facing elements 1 (Figure 1) connected by one end-face side 2, for example, at an angle 90° to form a Γ-shaped profile. Each facing elements 1 comprises a central section 3, a first lateral section 4 and a second lateral section 5 curved towards the front face 6 of the profiles rounded in its cross-section arranged at different sides of the central section 3, and a Γ-shaped fastening section 7 to be secured to the wall located at a rear side 8 of the profile and connected by its side 9 (Figure 2) to the central section 3 and the second lateral section 5 at their junction. Provided between the other side 10 of the Γ-shaped fastening section 7 arranged in parallel to the rear side 8 of the profile and the second lateral section 5 is a gap 11 (Figure 3) capable of accommodating the attachable facing profile between these sections. The other end-face side 12 of the central section 3 and the first lateral section 4 has a protruding mounting element 13, and the other end-face side 14 of the second lateral section 5 has at least one projection 15 with a possibility of connecting other facing profiles (Figure 4).

[0018] Each rounded lateral section 5 is capable of elastic bending with respect to the side 10 of the Γ-shaped fastening section 7 located in parallel to the rear face 8 of the profile.

[0019] The side 10 of the Γ-shaped fastening sections 7 arranged in parallel to the rear face 8 has mounting holes 16 for its fastening to the wall, said holes being located beyond the boundary of each rounded lateral section 5 with a possibility of free access thereto.

[0020] The thickness d (Figure 2) of each first lateral section 4 determined by the width of lateral face 17 of the sections 4 is at least not less than the width of the gap 11 between the rounded lateral section 5 and the Γ-shaped fastening sections 7 located in parallel to the rear side 8 of the profile 10.

[0021] Each protruding mounting element 13 and each projection 15 are displaced with respect to front face 6 into the profile for a value of the profile wall thickness. The end-face sides of the projections 15 and the mounting elements 13 have bevels 18. A slot 19 is made between the projection 15 and the mounting element 13.

[0022] The mounting of the profile for jamb facings is performed as follows. The profile leans against a room wall usually near a window or door opening, and is fastened to the wall through the holes 16 in fastening section 7. The respective facing profile is inserted in the gap 11, whose width approximately corresponds to the thickness of the attachable facing profile, between the fastening section 7 and the second lateral section 5 of the profile of each facing element 1. To the end-face sides 12 and 14 of the central 3, first 4 and second 5 sections of each facing element 1 there are connected other facing profiles having clamp flanges and mounting elements mating the projections 15 and the mounting elements 13 of the sections 3-5 ensuring their strong and reliable connection.

[0023] The invention can be easily made of modern materials on the basis of the existing technology and can be used most efficiently as an angular part of a jamb lining for facing walls of premises, mainly window and door openings.
