Finger puppet

Abstract

 The invention consists of a puppet for a finger or a thumb. It consists of a body, which represents a fiction character or a non fiction personage or animal. Inside the puppet body there is a cavity, where is fitted an airtight "rubber bulb sistem". This sistem will provide movement and effect of transformation to the puppet, by means of the differences of pressure that are obtained moving the fluids of its interior, as well as to integrate electronic and luminous elements that contribute to create sound and light effects. On having pressed with the fingers the tactile applicators (3), which are part of the system of the tubular conduits (2), it is expelled the fluid that they contain, moving the above mentioned content for the tubular system (2) up to the point inside the body - case (1) where it has been prepared the effect or corresponding movement. The cessation of pressure on the tactile applicators (3) produces the release of the pressure on the fluids and consecuently it stops the effect of movements or transformations. Equally by means of the described conduits, the user will be able to cheer up electronically the marionette (light, sound).

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention, as it expresses itself in the title of this descriptive memory, refers to a puppet, of those of handling with only one hand, or so-called "finger puppet". This puppet has been though and made in order to get a simple and affordable toy, which makes it a great developer for the cognitive and emocional skills of its users; generally children.

[0002] A special construction of the puppet characterizes this invention. It consists of a body, which represents a fiction character or a non fiction personage or animal. Inside the puppet body there is a cavity, where is fitted an airtight "rubber bulb sistem". This sistem will provide movement and effect of transformation to the puppet, by means of the differences of pressure that are obtained moving the fluids of its interior.

[0003] Within this, we have got a finger puppet that has a system which provides it with some characteristics of not known hitherto.

PRECEDENTS OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Both the puppets manipulated only by one hand, and the so-called "finger puppets", they are widely well-known and it is believed that they do not need a major clarification.

[0005] None of them known until now, has the system that presents this invention which provides them with movement and effects of transformation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The present invention refers to a puppet of the so-called 'finger puppet', that it represents to a figure of fiction or not fiction in miniature. This puppet can be taken comfortably in a pocket, and whose innovation demonstrates the following characteristics:

A - To be made of a semi-rigid or soft material, even textile. It is like a case adapted to a finger of your hand or thumb. This case will present the suitable shapes that could define the personage, character or animal that it represents.

B - As it has got a system of airtight tubular conduits, which have a type of fluid , even air. This fluid or air, being pressed in the indicated point with the object to make the fluids moving inside the system, it generates the movement or transformation that is expected from the element of the puppet.

[0007] The body that represents the different personages, characters or animals can be made of different materials, and it can be of different shapes and sizes.

[0008] The system of tubular airtight conduits, will contain the fluid needed for the variety of skills. It will be able to have one or several points of application of pressure to give different movements to the body.

[0009] Also it will be able to contain electrical or electronic devices in order to get different light or sound effects.

[0010] The functioning is very easy: Insert preferably your thumb in the body - case (1), which represents the personage, character or animal. On having pressed with the fingers the tactile applicators (3), which are a part of the system of the tubular conduit (2), it is expelled the fluid that they contain, moving the above mentioned content for the tubular system (2) up to the point inside the body - case (1) where it has been prepared the effect or corresponding movement (members' movement, enlargement of nose and / or eyes, antennas, etc ...).

[0011] The cessation of pressure of the tactile applicators (3) produces the release of the pressure on the fluids, and consecuently the effect of movements or transformation.

The figure 1 is a front sight that shows an achievement of a unit of finger or thumb puppet as the present invention.

The figure 2 is a rear sight that shows an achievement of a unit of finger or thumb puppet as the present invention.

The figures 2 and 3 are front sights that show an achievement of a unit of finger or thumb puppet as the present invention. In those figures can be appreciated an example of movement proved to apply pressure in the stated points of the tubular system.

PREFERABLE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0014] In the drawings that are accompanied to complement the description of the invention, there is described a thong (4), which facilitates the subjection and laying of the tactile applicators (3), in its correct position; and that it will also be able to serve as advertising support. It is a question of a preferable achievement, but it will be able or not to have the above mentioned thong. In the latter case, the tactile applicators (3) would remain placed about the palm of the hand for effect of the gravity. Likewise the body - case (1) they will be able to adapt oneself to any of the fingers of the hand.

[0015] The system of tubular conduit (2) will be able to be designed to the effect of adding one or more body - cases (1) so that they could be interacted between them.

[0016] The invention has been described according to a preferable achievement of the same one, but it admits multiple changes without exceeding the object of the claimed invention.

Claims

1. Finger puppet formed to be inserted in your thumb, it is characterized because it is constituted by a body - case (1), formed to be placed in a finger or thumb of your hand, preferably in the thumb; and because it has got a system of airtight tubular conduits, which contain fluid; and because the body - case (1) has mobile and accionable parts; and because the system of tubular conduits (2) is combined by the body - case (1) in the mobile and accionable parts.
